I've tried to find your website but it doesn't show up. It says that you are planning for piglets for Spring 2012. I alreadly own a minature pot belly but would love to get a mico mini. We love our Petunia. What are the price ranges for the micro mini's?
@hiphopcrazy17 We did have orphaned pet raccoons, the pigs actually litterbox trained them which made it hard to set them free, but as with all wild creatures they came back at night for awhile and then never came back.
Uhmmm noo because my family has had the mini pigs! If you truly want a pig under 25lbs do your research. I have gotten many pigs that were full grown and tiny the tiniest we had was 11lbs. they do exist and lived a long time;
yes, alot of people go and buy a teacup pig believing that they will stay small but the "Teacup" is how big they are when they are BORN, not fully grown. a true teacup pig will be anywhere from 30-75lbs when fully grownwhen fully mature at 3-4 years of age. This is much smaller than a full sized farm pig, which can weigh 800+lbs. Thus the MINI.
Our moose is 17 weeks old and almost 11lbs. He gets 1&1/2 cups of food a day and fruits/veggies. He will get to be between 40 and 50lbs & 15" tall.
@TheSchweetGal Who doesn't love piggies? ^_ ^ But it's common for people to raise them and get rid of them when they're big. Which is just pure evil! Hard to think of anything more selfish than that.
@MuscialhHeart Actually, I have a mini pig right now that i have had for 7 years, And he is about 14 inches tall, And is about 40 pounds. Mini pig? I think so.
@makemebad344 you have a small mini pig. There ARE mini potbellie. A standard potbelly is 125 to 150lbs . A mini vietnemese potbelly is typically 50 to 75 lbs full grown, but there is variation. Some stay on the smaller side, but the myth is that there are micro pigs that stay tiny forever. A pig wont reach full size to approximately 4 years, sometimes 5. My Katie grew unitl 5. She is now 65lbs. I know a woman who has a pig that is full grown at 43. It's just rare for that to happen.
@MuscialhHeart thats not true, theres people on youtube with full grown tea cup pigs, and they have documented proof og their pig growing, and its age bcuz theyve posted videos of them since they were babies to being full grown.
Good video, but STOP calling these "micro teacup mini potbelly pigs". These are just young potbelly pigs. They will NOT stay small like this and you know it. You are deliberately misleading people. These babies will get to be at least 120#! People need to be told the truth about how big these pigs will get before they buy them. Because once the cute wears off they will be neglected or abandoned. Just be honest and let people know what they are in for. Thanks!
We are considering this as an alternative to a dog (achoo). The pictures are adorable and we laughed the entire time. I do think that we may go through and adoption service but I see nothing wrong with what you do to maintain your family. Your pigs look very healthy and loved. Keep up the good work and thanks for the cute video. =}
@VernMLeon I understand what you are saying, but how could she afford to buy the breeding pigs and the food for all those piglets if she couldn't afford food for her family? Plus, if they are going to be healthy pigs, she has to take them for a check -up at the vet which can be costly. I do encourage that we adopt rather than buy, but I don't find anything inhumane with her breeding pigs, as long as she isn't underfeeding them so they stay small and she gives them their yearly shots.
@redsurfspider Oh god, get over yourself with your arrogant hippie bullshit. What an asshole, self-righteous comment to make. Logically, I could dissect your argument to apply to anything made "for-profit" including YouTube and the computer you're using and the bizarre socio-economic system that strangely allowed for true baseless self-righteousness like yours to form. Don't blame the people who are selling them, blame the irresponsible people buying them and not taking care of them.
Yes he sure is. He prefers to be outside now during the day and even sometimes at night unless it is really hot or really cold, otherwise you can tell he pretty much just hops up and starts heading for the door. He comes when called and knows the word no and obeys it. He has a good sized yard with kiddie pools and has never attempted to bother any of the fences. My youngest sometimes uses him as a pillow and he is good with it. He was neutered as soon as it was medically feasible.
I have a pet pig named Percy. He is such a good pig! We have to move to the middle east and they do not allow pork of any kind over there....... so sad I can't take him. I am looking for him a suitable home which is not easy to come by. He is such a sweet heart. He is about 3 years old if memory serves. He is actually very easy to take care of too. He was not easy the first year or so but they learn, and he is great!
They can weigh more then you when their grown, so be committed when you want to raise one, they're not going to be tiny long. Still, they're very smart and sweet animals, just don't get them because they're adorable. I love pigs!
@Dynastar231 Thanks. I was starting to wonder thatcause ihave read it too.Miss piggy is litter trained and on a leash and harness.Thanks for the info:)

@XiXloveXrebornsX Nah, it's cool. They look pretty comfy. >w< Plus, it's better if they sleep together. Maybe one will wake up in the night and just feel too lonely?
Not all of these are babies, I bought my girl from this breeder and you get to go to their home and actually see them, the parents are like 30-50 lbs and your taking the word micro wrong, it only means a smaller version of a regular pig. You can find this breeder at four 0 two eight eight 7 four six one 9
I wonder how big they get. We've been wanting to get a pig because they are very smart and well, they are adorable. I can't find a place around here that sells them. :( I even looked at shelters for ones needing a home. Sadness.
These pigs are so cute; but don't they get really really big? and are they even LEGAL as pets in missouri? how do you know what to feed them? and how to train them and take care of one. D: So many questions.
@mrcheekycheeks they dont starve them for appearance, they are babies. They get bigger, theres no such thing as a true micro potbelly. Also, even when at their largest, potbellies may be up to 175 lbs but still appear smaller than the average large dog because they are so compact and hardbodied
@mrcheekycheeks what happens when they hit puberty? Do they become aggressive? Do the owners get them spayed and neutered? It seems weird to me that they are soo adorably cute when they are small, but really big when they are grown...is there such a thing as a teacup pig? Why do people try and make pets out of non-domesticated animals? It seems all the rage these days...weird..

@RutheeJ425 how are they non domesticated? theyre not wild boars they are pigs, most pigs in the U.S are either pets or farm animals. And no pigs dont get aggressive if you are good to them, similar to if you dont beat or mistreat your dog it will be friendly.And potbellies arent all that big as adults just very heavy. They arent the same as the 800 lb sows...different breed. No there are no such this as a teacup or mini, these are babies. And most are sold already spayed or neutered.
we are looking to buy pigs and this video taught me a lot about how big teacup pigs can get and where they can go to the bathroom ex.... but thank you and i love the music!!!!!!
