  • can you figure the time for the solar eclipse on Jan 15, 2010. For California time. Thanks! :)

    Peggy (The GhostyGirl

    )

  • Sure thing! However, note that the eclipse that day will NOT be visible in the U.S.A. The contact times in Pacific Standard Time are: P1: 8:05 P.M U1: 9:13 P.M Greatest: 11:07 P.M U4: 12:59 A.M, and P4, or the end of the eclipse, is 2:07 A.M.

  • Thank you for the times, we will be using them when we do an investigation for para normal activity on the date of the eclipse.

  • so anyone in america cannot see it? its a blue moon too right?

  • @2boddah. Correct. The lunar eclipse was barely visible to people in Maine and parts of Canada, bu elswhere, the eclipse was not visible.

  • eastern standard time?

  • @OracleOfTheGarden . Did you want the contact times in eastern standard time? If so, here is the conversion. P1: 12:47 P.M U1: 1:52 P.M Greatest: 2:22 P.M U4: 2:52 P.M and P4: 4:28 P.M

  • no is won't

    i look a celestia

    there no lunar eclipse on new years eve

  • Have you looked on Wikipedia and NASA? There will be a small lunar eclipse over in Europe, Asia, and Africa tomorrow. Our area will not see it.
