To answer your questions - Ohio has had 28 national champions and NJ has had 20. Each have 10 guys currently ranked in the top 10, with the 10 from Ohio having a higher average ranking than the 10 from NJ.

Shouldn't make comments like these unless you really know what you are talking about. Ohio is consistently good while NJ was pretty average until 1999

Yeah, I know it's called recruiting, and I was just stating a hypothetical situation. Ohio Wrestling is the best in the country every year at the NHSCA tournament for outgoing college recruits, nobody can deny the quality of the recruits coming out of Ohio. Actually, every year since 2000, they have a tournament pitting the best seniors from around the country against each other. Ohio has multiple team titles, setting records, while New Jersey has never won a team title. Check out the National HIgh School Coaches assosciation web site, and find the results for the senior nationals tournament. I think it says what it needs to.

I think it's really hard for you to say that the best wrestlers in college are from new jersey when you are on a video with a true freshman from Ohio winning an NCAA title. But I will give you that it would be harder to win a state title in Jersey since I believe it's one division for the whole state, and Ohio has 3. I'll also give Blair academy some major praise for their wrestling program.

I only wrestled one kid from outside ohio once, and he was a state placer from kentucky, and I majored him. That was my junior year when I was only a state alternate. I think we can both agree our states are at an extremely high level of amateur wrestling.

Then i Don't have any idea, maybe it was personal preference. HAHA, in high school, i had a gold singlet, and I didn't wear it in the finals once when somebody bled on it in another match. Maybe that was dustin's problem.
