i've been having a hemp didj for a couple of years and also own a couple authentic yidaki; and i prefer the warm characteristics of the wood.not to mention nature helped make it and spirit went into the finishing of it ;) not to say hemp didj doesnt have its place~ just cant compare in my humble opinion!

I dont understand. There must be more than one then. It looks 99% identical to the one i tried to play at his shop. The length, colour, design everything. By the way it seems that Djalu has approved of the new Hemp Didges and says they play better than the traditional eucalyptus ones?
