  • You stole my idea! just kidding xD, but I had exactly the same idea, but I kept it for myself and the Order. What is wrong with you, this is supposed to be a secret!

  • BRO! THANK YOU! FOR GIVING ME AN IDEA! :DD

  • what screws did you use for the scissor jack? im making an original hidden blade from assassins creed's concept art and blueprints, and modify it to a working one cause the concept they have has some flaws :)

  • Where did you get the scissor jack from or how did you make it btw I love you hidden blades Im having trouble making my own

  • I have to ask, where did you get the housing for the spring, or was it fabricated by yourself. I plan on probably making my own if I cannot find one with a diamater that suits me, but wanted to find out if brazing should hold just as well as welding? I'm assuming that the spring force is not that great to break off the piece using brazing.

  • @AlexMercer17 I think this is the closest. The trouble is seeing that there are three pieces and the blueprints, yet the possibility of using a scissor jack all the way front without being seen in the 2nd piece might mean that the force of the spiral spring is strong enough to just shoot the 3rd piece, the part with the blade, all the way out and lock, from out of view, or the piece is internal, which is harder.

  • I wish we could figure out where to go from here based on altair's blueprints. Damn you Altair for not elaborating!

  • One, it is not a coil spring, it is a spiral spring. Two, curse you I was just thinking of using it a couple of days ago, but chose to see if there was anything on it on youtube. Yes, late, but I got into the AC games late as well. FYI. The scissor jack and spiral springs work nicely though, but I do have to ask, how did you make the spiral spring? Was it hand made? Or where was it purchased?

  • @jobzombi I know it's not a coil spring, It's called a clock spring, or like you said, a spiral spring. I got mine out of an old broken lawn mower. It's the spring that retracts the pull starter thing. You can also find one in those retractable dog leash

  • @abonude Thanks, I was looking into just that myself, but wasn't sure if you got it from the starter pull as well or somewhere more practical. I obviously want a pair and to find two old mowers with the same spring will be tough, so I'll see if I can ebay it for cheap. Thanks and really looks good.

  • the large cirlce thing should be like a gear....this is my hint...i dont want to say how it would work coz i wanna make it first.

  • You should try to finnish it, I want to see this thing in action, incorperate the scissor jack and coil spring into your other design

  • love the vids needs new music tho lol

  • This is pretty ba but it has no comparison 2 ur other blade

  • This is THE blade! this is how it is supposed to be built! you are the first one ive seen who made it correctly

  • why did you abandoned it though? you are so close from completion. just about three small parts and you are done ><

  • how many sturdy revolutions can you get out of the coil spring with it fully wound?

  • Where did you get the parts for the scissor jack?

  • @multipleman03 I made them from scratch. Sad to say but this project has been abandoned.

  • @abonude You say this was abandoned? I think it could be a really good way to make a fully spring loaded hidden blade. You could have a locking system pulled by a string and ring like in your other build, and two separate notches along the blade for where it needs to lock in. One notch far up the blade, for the closed position, one notch at the end for open. Then after oh so many pulls, you would need to rewind the spring to get new tension. But with some genius, it could work.

  • @abonude why you abandoned the project ? from what i could see, the coil /clock/ spiral spring could alow the blade to go in and out automatcally...so wh???

  • hey try to make this work as good as yours! it would be so great to have an AC hidden blade that works exactly like Ezio's does!

  • is that avatar music? hahaha

  • Dude when will the continued part be out

  • Ive been looking at your videos and you have the best hidden blade on youtube, in my opinion. Im subscribing if you make a tutorial.

  • lol he dropped it at 0:37

  • @11voltproductions

haha yeah, It's kinda cool though cause the timing is just right with the music for when I get the annoying wriststrap thingie that's hanging down. That's my favorite part :D

  • @abonude

Where did u get the casing that the spring is inside of?

  • may you provide the place you obtained your coil spring?

  • @loonymiko

haha yeah it's from a lawnmower. It's the spring that keeps the ripcord all wound up. I don't know here to get one anywhere else.

  • @abonude @loonymiko A clock would work fine. Get a spring alarm clock and there you have it.

  • @loonymiko this might be a little (ok alot) small but one way i got a spring thats like this was breaking open a tape measure roll. the ones that are in a flat cylinder and retract when you press the button.
