I have a genuine question before anyone jumps down my throat! The music is stunning, first of all, but when I originally heard it, it was played in very straight timing (3/4.... that's a waltz right???..... never studied music!) My question is, where is it???? It seems to be sacreligious to ask google or youtube??? If I were foppish, this would be hard to watlz to!!! Too many changes in rhythm for a dance :(
@kaplahhhhh there are no changes in rhythm in this, only a key change and grace notes. The change in speed is different from a change in the time measure
@kaplahhhhh in the romatic style of piano, you will see a lot of tempo changes, not time signature changes. This is what I see as a stylistic trademark of the romantic piano style, it seems to be be all about giving the music character that isn't on paper, but character that comes from the soul of the player.
I adore Chopin and heard so many interpretations of his music by various artists
(Horovitz, Kissin, Ashkenazy, Watts, Rubinstein, Gilels, Richter, etc. etc.).
I really believe Entremont is the person who feels the essence of Chopin more than anyone else (maybe because he is French?..). This waltz (op. 64.2) and op.66 in his interpretation are best forefer.

Encantador, atmósfera misteriosa y conmovedora. Tal vez soledad o huida hacia otro mundo...
