Tone is just like the real song. What settings do you have the Bandit on?

On the lead channel I have the 'modern setting' (the middle setting on the flick switch), treble and bass at around 8, and mid at around 4 or 5. Pre gain I usually have at around 7. Post gain, well that's up to you. The higher the better XD

this is hardly on beat. average delivery at best. and how exactly is playing with the recording considered a cover ?

For some reason during editing, the video ended up being stretched out an extra half a second which meant when I added the audio track, the video was delayed in comparison with the track, so I had to shift around the audio track to make the best out of a bad situation (i hope that makes sense).

I think next time I'm just going to have the Sum 41 track playing on the video's audio as opposed to overlaying the track over the top.

I've played this many times with a couple of bands and it's definitely one of the most energetic. I couldn't imagine just sitting on a crappy fold-out chair on mainstage and playing it haha.

Thanks! Usually when I play at gigs I mess up at some point during the solo. It took a couple of attempts whilst recording it on video but got there in the end :)

I got the general gist of the song from Total Guitar issue #116. Other than UG i'm don't really know any other websites that do tabs cos they all got shut down. If you want I can type the tab up on NotePad tomorrow and send it to you via email?

The Bandit 112 is a fantastic amp. The first time i played it I used another guitarist's 112 II and instantly liked it. Very powerful for a combo, has a great clean sound and has a variety of overdrive/distortion sounds without having too many buttons and knobs to have to mess about with. Total Guitar had the Mk2 version (the one that i have) as the top Combo amp in their top 50 products of the decade in one of their issues a while back. I think they have a 112S now. Try it out! =)

Hey mate thanks for the comment, i'm glad you liked the video! Tune all strings down 1 semitone so it become Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb and high Eb.

I used the distortion built into my Peavey Bandit amp. My equalizer settings were: Treble - 8, Mid - 5 and Bass - 8 and stick the gain right up! :-)
