The best version of this song I have ever heard and this includes the 1968 Fairport Convention version. Bravo.

Absolutely stunning performance. The story of a crime that may have taken place when...around the 17th century? Yet, I'm feeling almost like it happened yesterday to someone I knew. After going through about fifteen videos of Matty Groves done by various artists on YouTube, this was hands down the best. And yes, I love Sandy Denny, but this tops any Fairport Convention version, as well. Are The Strangelings still playing together, planning new recordings, and such?
