Blackbeard added to Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland

Davey Jones makes more since he was referenced in the ORIGINAL version of the ride. Come on Disney? Whats with all the movie tie-ins? Most fans liked it better without them, bring back the old ride!

I saw Blackbeard in WDW Pirates last week and it was quite the disappointment. He was terrible in the movie and he is terrible in the ride.

This was great to see when i went last week. Still, i personally prefer Davy Jones. What they should do is put Mermaids from On Stranger Tides in the ride. I think it would be a good idea. Thumbs up if you agree. What i'm still waiting for is to make the ship Barbosa is on look more like the Black Pearl. Thumbs up if you agree

You know, this makes more sense than you might think. Edward 'Blackbeard' Teach was decapitated, and legend has it his body then swam around the ship three times before actually dying. Pirates 4 is set after this, due to dates and I believe someone even mentions it in the film.

His floating head doesn't look right, Davy's head actually fit the screen. Blackbeard just looks like he was blatantly cropped out from a green screen

That is a good idea, but It wouldn't make sense since the movie is giving back to the ride which inspired the movie. Davy Jones is dead. Blackbeard is in the new movie
