Amtrak 69 North with The Great Dome Nov 2nd 2009

The last Amtrak dome, I think is from Great Northern's Empire Builder. Rio Grande Scenic has a few of the Santa Fe Big Domes and they do run around on Amtrak for time to time. I was just on a trip with them. We went to the Gulf to see it one last time before the oil came in. From Saint Louis June 2010 The Adirondack, should be a Tilt Train so they can take those ol D&H curves at higher speeds! Check out High Iron Tours website. @Trainlover4ever2006 If you like domes, you'll have to ride private cars. Because a few do run around on Amtrak and toursit trains from time to time. Most were scrapped.
