Are SLPs legal? I am considering buying some SLPs for my '06 GT but I don't wanna spend a shit ton of money only to have the cops tell me its too loud.

@Monster73196 Not really man, I just bought my 2005 gt 3 months ago when I was 17 (18 now). It's not hard, and you'll love manual. It's a lot of power for a beginner but you'll get used to it.

@IrishChris1979 It must be an American thing, dissing autos. I`m in the UK and I have an auto GT and love it. Every car I`ve had prior was a manual including dogleg boxes. I drive trucks for a living with manual splitter gearboxes and I have no problems with an automatic Mustang. Maybe you guys make such a big deal of it because theres so many garbage drivers over there and its some kinda bragging rights? Everyone here drives manual from little girls to old ladies, its really no big deal.

@IceTTom idk, i just dont really see the big deal. manual and automatic still make the same amount of horsepower, except in an auto i can actually pick up a drink, or something, while your still shifting constantly.

You act like it's so hard or such a big deal to drive a manual. That's horse shit. Try driving an 18 speed semi with no synchros 100,000 miles a year like I did before my current career. That's a real manual transmission. These buttery smooth synchronized transmissions with very little clutch effort are a joke. Any retard can drive one. You think you're all high and mighty putting a man's awesome car down because he drives an auto. You just made yourself look like a moron.

@IceTTom Anybody can drive a manual sir... they don't have to be the best, but as long as they dont mess up the synchros... its fine mate... FYI, the manuals in these cars are a joke compared to a truck. They are on a whole different level.

@IrishChris1979 It must be an American thing, dissing autos. I`m in the UK and I have an auto GT and love it. Every car I`ve had prior was a manual including dogleg boxes. I drive trucks for a living with manual splitter gearboxes and I have no problems with an automatic Mustang. Maybe you guys make such a big deal of it because theres so many garbage drivers over there and its some kinda bragging rights? Everyone here drives manual from little girls to old ladies, its really no big deal.
