I'm confused. I have the snes version of this game, and isn't Goro supposed to challenge you right after the last endurance match instead of showing the tournament plan. It's the reason, if you lose the last endurance match, you keep fighting from there.

yay!!! I just order Mortal Kombat 1 and Mortal Kombat 2 for the SNES online! I can't wait for them to come, all the wonderful memories of playing Mortal Kombat with my 3 older brothers. I especially remember Mortal Kombat 2 and how the Living Forest stage would scare the crap outta me as a little 5 year old. I love mortal kombat because, its characters are interesting and different, the boss fights take some skill to get through, and its its now style not a rip off of anything else. Keeping that in mine i dont care much for the combo system, i believe all games should have some form of one.

tool-assistance in fighting games is intented to be more entertaining than as fast as possible. a true speedrun would end up with repeating the same moves over and over again.

That wasn't the point I was making earlier. The animation still takes quite a bit longer compared to just punching or kicking the opponet. Not to mention that's one less score bonus the game has to count.

But I forgot this is a TAS run.
