I wonder if you've taken the time to learn that Richard Hell has published several books and put out an album since his 'addiction to HEROIN'. Hell really came out a lot better than a lot of people from his scene, even those that are still alive today. This guy had a kid who went to the same summer art-camp as my kid (we're both mid-fifties) a couple years ago. I would see him drop the kid off with the camp trunk etc, and do a double-take "Hey, that Dad is Richard Hell!" My kid thought I was nuts.

Sorry MM, I don't know the specs on his kid, but my own kid referenced above is now 21, so RH's could be roughly the same. Full disclosure RH was always there with a woman, so it could very well have been her child. Christopher Guest and Jamie Lee Curtis' daughter Annie, and Kevin Bacon's kid Travis were also at that camp at the time (there's your Six Degrees of Separation from Kevin Bacon of the day)...It's Bucks Rock Arts Camp in CT, a very cool arts and music place for kids and teens.

That's an odd question. You should look at the rundown of his recent activities at the Updates page on his Official Site. He's a professional writer who also has gallery shows of art and makes some public appearances. He's also had two CD's out in the 21st century (TIME and SPURTS), and collects royalties on a back catalog of music. I think he gave up pimping when he got married.

Hell was the fashion statement back in the day. He wore the coolest clothes, had a great haircut and sported the best shades. He was the best looking guy around. Where would Kenneth Cole and a million stylists be today if not for him. That jacket looks like something Zero Mostel would wear in The Producers. I guess the reflection in the pool is troubling to him.

Who says only small noses are beautiful? If only young people are interesting to view as talking heads then why do people go to see movies starring actors like Tommy Lee Jones, Sofia Loren and Helen Mirren? Who say they aren't "sexy?" Watch some You Tube videos of Aldous Huxley being interviewed. This old man is alot more interesting to watch than Keanu Reeves or Matt Damon.
