i knows its cliche how people usually associate "phish and psychedelics", as I believe they're an amazing band with or without drug use, but I had the most amazing experience on shrooms a few months ago listening to them. lets just say "swept away" quite literally swept me away.. no words can describe this band!

Well look, people compare Phish to the Dead not because they sound alike, they sound completely different, but because they focus on live shows. The Dead went 30 years touring almost non stop before Jerry died. Hell, if they could all stay healthy, I'm sure they would be touring right now. From my experience, Phish is just as good, if not better than the Dead, so I wouldnt worry about the quality of the tour. And when I was at the NYE show, Trey announced a SUmmer tour, so keep lookin for dates

Without the dead their would be no phish. I know they'll tour this year. I'm just hoping it's not small compared to last years. It's not like they didn't have a few years off though. I'm sure it'll be good

I'm sure Phish would exist. Improvisational rock wasnt created by The Grateful Dead, just made extremely public. Dont get me wrong, I fucking love the Dead and give them loads of credit. The Dead introduced jam rock, and Phish perfected it. I doubt Phish will hold another festival for a while, but their concerts have been just as amazing as ever.
