Couldn't agree more. Great looking shoes but the Reaction shoes don't seem to be designed to go on a human foot. New York line is great, but Reaction is terrible.

The New York line of Kenneth Cole shoes are much better than Reaction. I just bought some Reaction shoes on sale and I can already tell they are not a great fit for a human foot =). My New York line shoes though, are very comfortable and lasted many years and are still in great shape. Of course they were $300 and the Reaction pair was $99.

AND Kenneth Coles will fall apart. Great design, but really crappy quality. If you want dress shoes that last, you gotta be in the $250 range. :-(

dress shoes....boots.........are not sneakers. you need to keep on wearing them so you can break into them. Over time the leather will soften and it will feel a lot better.

I would love to hear more about your actual day of trying to walk in those shoes, especially for a job interview. It would be "cute" to hear that. haha ya i've had alot of problems with shoes that cut the back of my feet

basically just check for them to be leather that usually helps ALOT for them to be less painful

and to be softer in the back :)

If you want to branch out to a more classic, better looking, higher quality shoe stick with these brands: Ecco, Johnston & Murphy, Bruno Magli, Allen Edmonds, Hugo Boss

If you want to stay in the KC Reaction price point, switch to Bostonian.

What is going on man. Nice to talk to ya again. I am Men's Shoes Sales Associate at Department store and Kenneth Coles are fashion shoes and they are suppose to be uncomfortable. Fashion shoes such as Kenneth Cole, Guess, and Calvin Kleins focus more on look instead of comfort because young people goes a lot more for look instead of comfort. Btw I subscribed :P

All close fitting slip ons tear apart your heel the first time you wear them if they're made from stiffer black leather. That's why you need to break them in. You could always size up and purchase heel liners to prevent it too. All women's pumps do this at one time or another. You should feel lucky you only have to wear flat mens shoes.

those shoes are very nice!!! too bad their uncomfortable, but if they look that nice, the "uncomfortability(?)" factor should be overlooked! haha anyway they should conform to your foot the more you suffer in those sexy shoes! i have a bunch of uncomfortable shoes, but i just keep on wearing it, and eventually the mold of the shoe conforms to my feet! and don't worry your feet won't get deformed in any way.

The shoes are hot.. obvisouly. Kenneth Cole- Great brand, but yes, I do understand why they hurt you're feet. Break them in a little.. the heel of the shoe must be rubbing your heel quite badly. I would suggust putting in Dr. Sholes in you're shows which are In-Soles. And also put maybe a band-aid on you're heels when you wear them. YEAH! Anyway, good vid ! You look like someone who would work in an office! haha :) you're cute.. Michael Phelps's father? God knows..

I remember the first pair of reactions I bought. It took soo long to finally break them in, then when they were finally broken in, they looked so old and I've only had them for 9 months. I can totally relate with you ... last week I was walking around downtown without socks and the back of my foot was all raw that I had to breakdown and buy a pair of 16 dollar socks.

i can relate to buying pretty/cool shoes that hurt. I bought some awesome plaid high tops but when i wore them they would rub weirdly on my pinky toe and eventually rubbed off some skin. i was so sad because i would've loved the shoes dearly if it wasn't for the pain.

Yeah i usually get Aldo's or Ecco leather shoes their nice and they don't cut your feet :P, ohh but Aldo's REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE tho but it nice. Ecco is really expensive, i got my pair for like 330+tax and their Awesomely comfortable and they don't hurt or CUT your feet :D.
