I can't remember the exact lowest note she ever sung but it was something like G2 and the highest was G#7. @clydelovesmariah Thats a myth, nobody has that! She has 5 octaves, cos she can just about go down to the 2nd octave and up to the higher end of the 7th octave. I can't remember the exact lowest note she ever sung but it was something like G2 and the highest was G#7. Most people say she has 5 octaves, I don't know why people started saying 7, that's just ridiculous! In order to do that she would have to sing lower than any man can! She still has more range than any other pop singer though!

Mariah IS a universal artist. She's sold over 200 million records during her entire career and I really doubt only 200 million Black people bought her albums. You don't have to speak a language to enjoy music and Mariah has plenty of fans worldwide.
