Season 1 got all da smart, season 2 wasnt since they tried to make it more realistic, n failed. Come on, u couldnt catch fish for shit??? Thats da easiest part of life, espicially with a pole n hook already giving. Im not looking forward to season 3 cuz season 2 suck balls...(i lied, i stil love da show regardless lol)

Even though it's all fake, the people feel like it's real. It's hard to describe how real things can feel unless you have done something like it. I've done some stuff with extended role play homeless weekends for college students, and I've seen kids get so angery with me even when they know that it is all an act.

The conflicts they have with "outsiders" are really just them having an argument with some actors sent in and no actual fights will happen it will be pushing and shouting.

Also, they obviously would never be allowed to die or be in any real harm so it kinda takes the point off it really.

I mean, discomfort is part of the concept so that should factor in (no easy outs) but I don't expect anyone to sign onto a show where an actor can waltz up with a machete and murder them! But I DO think they should allow "elimination" (like George in S1, but unscripted) where if a survivor WOULD have died, they can take them off the show. "Sorry, you're dead".
