Let's be realistic though about the voice acting.It was great that they voiced every character and hired some excellent actors to play major roles but underneath that was every other character in the game was voiced by one of the same four people.

The female Nord that ran the armory in one town was the same voice as every other female Nord in that and every other town and they didn't even try to disguise it.

Two of my favourite games ever are: Assasin's Creed from Ubisoft and Borderlands from 2K. Assasin's Creed has a lot of story, great feel for large cities and life-like characteristics, meaning Morrowinds large-scale style game with very varied environments and fantastic quests fits their studio perfectly. Ubisoft's absence is noticable in Oblivion, the quests do suffer. 2K's appearance is noticable in how huge the combat improvements are, just like how addicting combat was in Borderlands.

@rzaracheta Several. From Morrowind on every RPG Bethesda has produced, the Fable series, Mass Effect 1, 2, and soon 3, Dragon Age (Origins was great but I felt DA2 was too lacking to warrant a purchase), and many more too numerous to mention.

Sure it had its faults, but a game that size and scope, with the mechanics it had, was unheard of at the time nothings perfect. Keep in mind Im not including MMO's in the mix and this is just my personal opinion.
