How to Dismantle HTC Wing P4350 Herald to Replace LCD Screen

I used this video to replace my broken screen and the screen works flawlessly (thanks). Now I have no sound. When I make calls I can hear them fine but the speaker phone doesn't wont so I will not be able to hear it ring or other noise notifications. If there anything I may have miss? What cable is responsible for the speaker phone so I can take a closer look? Thanks!

Hey, I am having a slight issue with my Wing after my dad took it to a shop to have it repaired a while back (before it was given to me)

anyways, after having the lcd replaced, it worked for a while, and then magically the screen started banding its colors vertically. I was hoping it was a connection issue so when checking the connections, I put it back together and now the keyboard doesn't work and the screen isn't any better. Is there some reassembly step I am missing?

It is basically impossible to safely detach.

Because of this the lcd screens we sell on the website include the touch screen.

hey i figured out what I did wrong, and fixed my phone. I am not sure if this will help your phone, but what i forgot to do was, the BIGGER orange strip that is connected on the bottom of the main board, (that has tape) it has to be SNAPPED into each other, what i did before was just place it on top and taped it. Hope it makes sense if not message me.

The backlight is attached to the LCD screen.

A new LCD and backlight should resolve your problem.

I understand thanks im sorry im asking too much. But my lcd works if u look hard u can see everything, its really dark but it works n also the touch screen works too. The problems is only with the backlight is there any posibility just to fix the light i guess the light is a led light right??

If only the interior part of t-mobile wing's screen is broken but not the exterior and the screen is blank with blue lines, which part of the screen do I have to buy to repair it ?

On my wing the screw hole right next to the camera lense has something on it that says "void" so i can't take off the top of the camera lense and the housing......What should i do?

its the screw i had the same question but just put the screw driver on top and you will see that the word void goes in because its just like little stickers on top

Hello! Thank you very much for this video. I wouldn't have even tried this fix without it. VERY helpful. The screen switch out only took me about an hour- I put the keyboard-slider on backwards while re-assembling, and that slowed things down a bit until I figured out what was wrong. The part to remember is that the pattern of round shapes next to the three screw holes on each side matches up with the pattern on the slider.
