went there yestarday. nothing in the fair hardly. a few rides. log flume is getting smashed down. someone stole the belets a few months ago. pricks :(

I can understad where your comming from... Barry's wouldn't be the same without the pleasure park. but to be quite honest... some of those rides are DANGEROUS! yes they pass the test... but come on... who want to see a log flume with holes in. I almost fell out of the roller coster. if it wasn't for my dad I wouldn't be here to write this comment . As sad as it is, maybe it would be better if the fair wasn't there... their death trapps!! sorry but it's true xx

I came here back in 1990's when i was on a school trip - with rides like the "century 2000" and obviously the log flume.

Its a shame the park will be closeing

Problem with a lot of smaller parks like this, is the appearance. That log flume seriously looks like it needs a lick of paint.

People go to a theme-park like Disneyland where everything is immaculate, and then come here and see all the peeling paint and general scruffiness.

it says on the main web site it is reopening next year it reads opening 2 apriol 2010 so there is hope still southport plesureland lives on a string to never noing if it will reopen the next yoer cradit crunch or not there no need to build flets on the sea front its totaly the roung place and is one way of killing sea side town all bary need is a new ride and another coaster and someform of sukerity

wow well done any fool knows that good filming can make any thing look good ur obviously good with a camra but in this film u mostly filmed the moblie fair ride's that are not there all the time n barry council could give them a pitch sumwere else in barry and were the barry islands dogems there gone! y did u nt film the jungle ride, the haunted mine or the Viper?

Throughout the season, the viper has undergone various technical difficulties and both the jungle ride and haunted mine have been victim to vandalism on the animatronics and rides themselves. These are examples of parts of the reason why the owners cannot afford to keep the park open.
