@TheRedneckdragon it was a copy of SNL as was SNL a copy of the smothers brothers and Laugh In! Fridays delivery was brilliant the had Larry David and MIchael Richards That later on made what is considered the best show ever so you need to realize you suck hard you idiot!
For those too young to remember this show let me say this. It was rip off of SNL and it was a steaming pile of crap. In the midst of America's drug years it did little more than ride the shirt-tails of it. Most f the skits where about drugs and all of it was written on drugs. I was in high school at the time and I saw thru it then and it's even worse now...
@TheRedneckdragon ..Pfffft...screw the haters! This show is awesome!!! and was way better than SNL at the time. And so what if most of the jokes were about drugs? Definitely not for conservative folk.
I can handle it..I can handle it! I'd completely forgotten about that, I used to say it for comic effect, only it was utterly true: I couldn't handle it. I was 18 at the time, and was very much into not doing drugs, but going to church a lot, a little cult church. It was good for a time, but I bailed out eventually. As I type this I can hear teenagers screaming in the night outside, having a ball. That's what I should have been doing, instead of watching TV. I couldn't handle it.
Hmmm. I can see why this probably appealed to Americans at the time as it was probably more schocking t han they were used too. But having watched a few of these now it's apparent that the sketches are overlong and the characters desperately overdone. Is this Mark Blandfields guy still around?
i remember this..i liked this.

Fridays clips always bring back a lot of memories. It's hard to believe it was 30 years ago.

I recall this one back in 1981. Makes me feel like I'm only 22 again.
