  • Simply MindBlowing Sensational Haunting Romantic Heavenly Song With An Essence of Love for Nature Also :) Simply Outstanding Voice By Mahendra Kapoor Sahaab. :)

  • i jus love zis song, so nice

  • nice lyrics, good song, great

  • My parents are in love with this song, especially my mother! She's been infatuated with Bollywood films since her teenage years. She prefers mostly the films made in the 60's to the 80's though.

I remember hearing this song on a cassette as a kid.

  • lovely song.

  • hey missmlo, Heres the translation, (chorus)below the blue sky we sing on this wonderful land(chorus), in a world like this the morning comes to kiss u gd morning n kiss before sunset, (chorus) water of rain showers on flowers like perals, (chorus) all the branches hug the trees n dance with the wind, (chorus) water of river meets the seashore to meet the ocean, (chorus)
  • baban045, thank you so much for the translation. I've watched this movie and heard this song long long ago. I am Hmong and this Hindu (please forgive me if I got it wrong) song is very popular in the Hmong community. Once again, thank you for much.

  • @baban045 Awesome!

  • @baban045 Should the first line not be:

Under the blue sky nurtures/lives the love of this earth?

  • @baban045 - been long overdue for a reply to your post...but thank you very much for translating the lyrics! Such lovely words to go with such a lovely song! It's now a classic with my other Indian/Bollywood songs! :)

  • Sound like a Tibetians songs..

  • thank-u for uploading this music video i've been looking for it....lovely song....

  • I heard this song since I was 5 years old..and my dad had this song among others on a cassette probably about 35 years ago! ...and I still have the song on that same cassette this day! If someone can translate the lyrics into English - that would be great!

  • I found this:

    1. Shabnam ke moti, phoolon pe bikhre, dono ki aas phale ...

The pearls of morning dew are spread on the flowers and their hopes blossom....

    2. Hey... neele gagan ke tale, dharti ka pyaar pale.

Hey........ Under the Blue Sky, Earth's love is blooming.

    3. Balkhaati belen, masti mein khelen, pedon se mil ke gale...

The branches are swaying joyfully and embracing the trees...

    4. Hey... neele gagan ke tale, dharti ka pyaar pale.

Hey........ Under the Blue Sky, Earth's love is blooming.

  • @HaanjiDasso balkhaati belen- twisting vines

  • 5. Nadiya ka paani, dariya se mil ke, saagar ki aur chale.

The lake water merges with the river and flows swiftly towards the sea.

  • What a great song! I have been looking for this song for so long, and not I finally found it! Thanks for posting it!

  • dats my dad's fav.song! still remember him humming it when i was a kid....love u n miss u daddy.

  • Mahendra Kapoor is as great as any of the other "greats"

  • Agreed.

  • just fab!

  • "Shabnam ke moti phoolon pe bikhre, dono ki aas phale" -- that's what I call a subtle expression of something overtly sensuous.

Work of a genius (lyricist), complemented by great music and the magical voice of the late Mahendra Kapoor.

  • Thaaanks!

  • kahan gaye wo log jihone aise superb movies banayi? kahan gaye aise awesome geeton ko banane wale gaane wale ? abb to bollywood mein sirf kooda(SCRAP) hi bacha hai

  • I was four, and I still remember this song as if it was yesterday. Love it. Thanks for posting it.

  • no separate interlude between 'antara' and 'mukhda' or between 'antara's, but still so melodious and soothing!MD Ravi made few songs, but some are stunning, like this one.Lending him perfect support was the sweet voice of Mahendra Kapoor.

  • Its Raj Kumar! Not Mahendra Kumar!

  • He is talking about Mahendra Kapoor!! The singer... the one who sang the awesome song.

  • Many many thanks for uploading this awesome masterpiece. This reminds my departed dad. From his record player I heard this song and became all time favorite.

  • bloody awesome....

  • As the saying goes "OLD Is GOLD". Hats off to this beautiful song. Mahendra Kapoor deserves to be respected.

    GR8 song

  • This is one of my favorite songs . SO SOOTHING .

IN THE PRESENT TIMES SONGS OF THIS KIND ARE VERY MUCH REQUIRED TO KEEP PEOPLE AWAY FROM DEPRESSION .

  • only if we got beautiful wives of our choices...just kidding...

  • I do not know what you mean by beautiful wife . Do you mean ABOUT COLOUR OF THE SKIN OR THE BEAUTIFUL MIND OF THE WIFE ?

  • for me the beautiful is important than colour eventhough white but not beautiful..is not good to me...

    cheers..

  • so true :)

  • too bad guys.. mahendra kapoor is no more.. his songs such as the great one above will remain eternal.. may his soul rest in peace..

  • i love this song

  • omg there's a thai version to this song. sooo cool! this sound more raw!

  • Translation plz

  • I don't know why I love this song, & I don't know how I first found it. I just found it and it reminded me of my dad who passed away. I never heard it before that but when I did hear it (after my dad passed away), it made me cry everytime I heard it afterward. I love it now, even if its sad to me. -=/

  • OH YEAH! been searching for this song like 4ever, but didn't know the name. AWESOME! Thanks for sharing.

  • What an AWESOME song!!!! It is so INFUSED WITH THE SPIRIT OF LIFE. They certainly don't write them like this anymore.

One western tune I might recommend that has a similar infusion of LIFE is Led Zeppelin's Bron y Aur.

  • He... neele gagan ke tale, dharti ka pyaar pale -2

Aise hi jag mein, aati hain subahein, aise hi shaam dhhale...

He... neele gagan ke tale, dharti ka pyaar pale

  • Rare hindi song which describes nature. Normally hindi songs are related to love.

  • warms my soul

  • I don't know what the heck he's saying, but I sure like the music!

  • Learn Hindi/Urdu and you will not like any other music.

  • Under the blue sky the love if the land grows. In such a place this is how the sun rises and this is how it sets..

    sssssslovely (LOL)

  • Beautiful song
