It's not a tragedy that his mind and heart have been opened to the truth. He has found a BETTER belief system than fundamentalist Christianity. That is why he won't go back no matter how fervently you pray for him. Because he is on the path to real truth.  Some Christians in their denial will even claim that he was never a genuine Christian in the first place. LOL! Fundamentalists might call this the "great falling away", but I call it a "great awakening".

@fbufor01 thank you so much for saying that! :) As far as his weird doctrine that doctrine goes.... he has not attacked anyone or talked down to anyone since his transition. Watch every interview and he continues to smile and show everyone love anyway. If his doctrine makes a man love people anyway like he's been doing I believe it to. Everyone may disagree but he loves everyone anyway the same way Jesus did.. and look at what we did to him...That's what I thought Jesus taught.

Actually it is love. In reality the whole concept on inclusion isnt wrong. Becuase when Jesus dies on the cross the work was finished. But the big thing is you need to come to the relaization of what Christ did and you have to want that relationship with God. God isnt gonna force you to have a relationship with him if you dnt wanna. In that case thats mercy and love. He's not gonna force you to be with him if you dnt wanna. And in that case hell is where you go to be with the god of this world.

i don't get it, he has changed his teachings but still preaches the bible and sings the same songs. i will not jugde him but it just confuses me how God can use a man so greatly and then all of a sudden he gets a revelation that God used him the wrong way? My Friend..I love Carlton very much. Basically, it comes down to his doctrine. Paul said if anyone preaches a different gospel, let him be accursed. It's strong, but it is bible. Jesus said "I am THE way THE truth and The Life" and that he was the ONLY way. Pretty clear right? Carlton says no. He says Jesus played his part and is no longer what HE claimed to be. Jesus spoke of heaven & Hell, Carlton says He was wrong. Jesus preached against sin, Carlton says embrace it. Pray for him.
