i was half expecting to hear gene do this interview in french, she studied in europe for two years and spoke the language fluently. of course all those shock treatments ruined a lot of her memory.

listening to her reveals a very intelligent person with a strong sense of honesty and realism. it makes her all the more impressive.

@Drallivehc Oui , j'ai vu les 2 parties. Je n'avais bien sûr jamais vu cet entretien

que vous aviez sans doute conservé sur vhs...A voir également sur youtube un

autre entretien, en français cette fois, donné lors de son passage à Cabourg en

1986. C'est anecdotique mais je vais bientôt récupérer une copie de Hudson Bay que je n'ai jamais vu...Encore une fois, un grand merci !!!

Le narrateur de l'émission ne c'est pas trompé en disant que Gene est certainement la plus belle actrice que Hollywood ait connu ! Son talent mais aussi sa beauté dans "Pêché Mortel" sont a coupé le souffle, et 27 ans après avoir vu ce film au "Cinéma de Minuit" de Patrick Brion ,la beauté de Gene est restée gravée a jamais dans ma mémoire! Et apparemment je ne suis pas le seul ! ♥♥♥♥♥

Thank you so much for uploading this! Im a huge Gene Tierney fan and have been looking for an interview of her for ages. The interview is fascinating showing the tragic side of her life as well as her sense of humour. Its great to see the clips of 'Leave her to Heaven' and hear her talk about the film. (I personally think its better than Laura)

(sorry for the delay) Im from England. I recently had the oppurtunity to watch a restored version on the big screen at the British Film Institute. Id previously only seen it on television (it seems to be a weekday afternoon regular), and I was blown away, the colour is stunning and I noticed so many new details ( there is a chess set in the front of shot when Ellen takes Quinton to the library, its a perfect symbol of the confrontation thats about to take place)
