@USAMPFREAK, Has nothing to do with the forums.... When Scott ran it, it was the baddest company at the time! And the idea to move all production from chinese buildhouses is not a good idea. I have an Old RE SX 12" and I have a new RE SXX 12"... Old one KILLS it!!!
And who built this 5K amp? It appears to be a Zenon style amp, which is weird coming from "US AMPS" I do believe it has the same board as my RD 5750.1 that I have had for 5 years now.
@zoomboy28 REALLY where did you hear that we moved everything to china? I personnally oversee our US Production Line! We still Build SXX MX XXX and MT woofers here getting all parts from the original vendors. So yeah I can tell your just another one of Scott's little nut huggers!
@USAMPFREAK , I guess I can say that the SXX, XXX and MT lines are "mostly" US made....but all the others?!?!?! And no I am not a nuthugger..... I will never run anything directly FI...... I used to run RE.......used to.... I am very interested in these amps, it does look nice! Are they built here in the US? If they are 100% US made I would be very interested in running one and testing/clamping it.
i have 3 of the new sex 12s.had them about 4 months.with less than 500rms a piece (not clipped) a tinsel on each sub burnt in half and the other tinsels show obvious excessive ware. after going through countless reviews im beginning to feel took! i have blown many subs(mostly on purpose)and i have never had or seen a tinsel BURN in half!! their still under warranty but im spending more money 4 shipping plus i have no faith that these will be any different. i really want to love RE.banged hard
@Brian98362 ,,, you cant win em all i suppose,,but RE is good stuff,,,,im currently running one of the older SX 15s,, with a cracked and repaired cone ugly as fuck,,,,me and my buddy had the thing wired 1 ohm in the middle of my driveway free-air WANGIN' tryin' to blow the son of a bitch,,,that didn't even phase it,,so i let it live,,i got it in my trailblazer still slumpin',,ugly as hell but sounds so good,, but like i said,,,its the older SX.
@siTTinLo420 i did fix one got it in the box i made 4 all 3 it was sealed but now has a 6" flared round port 28 to 40" long(i can add pieces after 28").only 7" in the box the rest is sticking out. it was .75 each after displacement crazy loud.it takes around 800 rms @4 ohm(i got duel 2 cause i was gona git 4 subs)but you could cook things on it. those subs you just have to solder the tinsels shorter!!! all of them!!! go figure.im down not out. just gota hifonics brz2400.1 not bad for $330
what do you think of the Re Audio XTX5000.1 amp? im looking into 2 of them to power 2 Ascendant Audio Mayhem 18's. Thanks!

My power supplies are 3 70 amp Astron's Variable voltage and current. the 3 of them will do over 120 amps continouis.
