This was the most underrated album of 2008. It got mostly good reviews, but it didn't show up on many "best of the year lists," which is ridiculous. Yes, I understand that it is performance art and not a collection of songs, but this was easily as powerful as any collection of songs I heard. Both discs are essential listening for fans of either artist.

i am so glad that i found it.

it was the best 2008 album that i recall.

patti still knows her stuff, and i am still fascinated and enchanted by her Being.
