has been involved in for over 20 years now and there is something pure

and simple about this, his vocals even he will admit were not the strongest

in the early days, however hearing these sessions just demonstrates that he truly is and deserves his place, god only knows hes had his fair share of ups and downs as a true music legend i urge you to listen to some of the early

albums movement, brotherhood and technique,!!

Normally not a fan of these "unplugged" sessions but Bernard and the dudes on acoustic guitars put on a real heartfelt performance here.I love hearing electronics in a rock music context but when you can strip a song down to a great vocalist and some natural organic sounds it's the proof of the pudding.

Bernard Sumner sounds great singing this wonderful song. The two guitarists are excellent rhythmically but the rhythm bed (piano-guitar-bass) was much different (syncopated) on the original recording. Strangely, the guitar solo here seems to be played note for note. However, I really missed the chord nuances of Johnny Marr's guitar work. Listen to the chord solo JM plays on the outro of the original recording. Beautiful! This is a stripped down version in many ways.
