I've seen Annie in concert twice and whether it's on tv, youtube or live in concert, she is truly an outstanding and vivid performer. She is an artist--not one of those contemporary pop icons that choreographs dances and lipsinging. I love her! SHE IS AMAZING!

i agree with you--but if you anyone really want to witness why she is so freaking amazing--you HAVE to see her live--video does not always capture the roundness and flexibility to her voice--which is common and thus why alot of performers lipsync--i admire her even more that she does not compromise on this--and when you see her live you see a tour de force--hot damn!

A HUGE Annie Lennox fan since back in the day when I first saw her in the "Sweet Dreams" video with her shocking orange hair and thought "Who is the gorgeous woman with the voice of an angel with soul." Madonna can sing, check out the recent live performance of Live To Tell sung from the cross - but she's first and foremost and entertainer. She never claimed to be a vocalist. I love both Madge and Annie. They're both amazing and incredibly talented in their own special way. Obviously, the Annie's finest quality is her voice.
