  • How can anyone possibly argue that the poor officiating didn't alter the outcome of that game? It so clearly did. I have no personal beef with the Steelers or their fans (the true fans, not the bandwagon hoppers) but that was not a fair game. In that year the Seahawks were the better team and the Steelers didn't deserve to win this particular game.

  • since 2005, the Steelers have been to two Super Bowls and won one...meanwhile, in Seattle...

  • just alil fun facts for you guy the refs had admited that they called bad calls that chnaged the outcome of that came and gave the steelers TWO touchdowns that they shouldnt of had and he had left being a ref after that adn gave him huge health problems cuz he was so stressed for throwing a super bowl i think his name was leavey not sure though but so we would have had a chance to win but there was no way we would have won with seahawks against steelers and the refs

  • @taterhater2801 No, one ref said he made two bad calls in the fourth quarter. The only one that really was a bad call was a personal foul called on Hasselbeck after he had thrown an interception. The other was a holding call that the head of NFL officiating said was actually a hold.

  • WHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

  • 2:22 AHAHAHA what skill? The skill you didn't have to win a Super Bowl? How about the skill that it took to have over 40 years of constant mediocrity?

  • I just think the calls shoulda been fair, all the BS holding calls and TD's. We cant play the shoulda coulda woulda game. You say if that TD wasnt counted, they woulda got it in the next time, you dont know that for sure. I mean come on now, everyone says that the seahawks suck, so why be in the refs pockets. Afraid you're gunna lose and look bad. We fought hard to get there, it was the happiest moment of my life, & i felt like we were robbed. We didnt play the best but we deserved a fair game.

  • the refs didn't fail to tackle willie parker on his 75 yard TD scamper, the refs didn't throw a red zone pick in the 4th quarter, the refs didn't get duped and give up the trick play by randle el to hines ward, the refs didn't drop numerous wide open passes during the game....the seahawks had many chances to not only get back into the game, but win the game...their failure is their fault, not the refs

  • @GSeward yes it is...its unfair publicty that the steelers get favored to win over a pacific NW team. i wonder why? since the world would rather see pitt win.

  • @garyb12001 = internet tough guy (pansy in real life).

  • Steelers+HGH+bribing officials=fraud champions...

  • @garyb12001 I really doubt you would call anyone a pussy face to face junior. Good thing for the internet where schoolgirls such as yourself can vent their hosilities. The Steelers in fact are just a different version of the Raiders.

  • Steelers=Frauds....

  • okay lets say they got the call right, that d jack did not really push off 7-0 settle lets say that they got the call righy big ben did not score that t.d it should of been 4th and goal. Steelers would of kicked a field goal 7-3 seattle. willie parker had his run 10-7 pitt seattle would of scored on that holding call 14 to 10 seattle. would of been the finale score.

  • @i12thmani you didn't see a push off? and you think we couldn't get an inch at the goal line? was a score negated because of the hold or a potential score?

  • there were 2 blown calls in that game and both on the same possession. the non hold and the blocking below the waist after the interception. lets take away the hold and give yall a TD. let's say the steelers still run a trick play to Ward and score on the next series. you still lose 21-17. you missed 2 FGs and Stevens dropped a pass for a first down.the interference call was correct! Ben wasn't in but we would have scored from the one inch line.wish we could get a rematch but now yall suck!

  • @yetitracker Way to be immature about it.

  • @madpaintbalerx if by immature you mean correct in my opinion than I accept that! good luck to ya!

  • HAHAHAHAHA... this video is hilarious... so are half the excuses that people on this video keep making.

  • I've never understood which calls were actually wrong. Anyone with a general knowledge of football cans easily see that the refs did a good job. prove me wrong u biased, menstrating bitches!

  • @steel5w

It's not that the calls were 'wrong' necessarily. It's that they were ticky-tacky. And they let Pittsburgh get away with more blatant fouls when they called Seattle on little stuff. It's like in a basketball game, you can't call a technical on a guy who's standing there dribbling, but you CAN scrutinize his play more and be harder on him.

  • BS. Hawks dominated on the stat page. Your "penalty flag defense" is the reason for that Lombardi, like it or not.

  • @SuperTugz ticky-tacky? They seemed pretty clear to me, but then again I know something about football. Pitt didn't get away with much, if anything, that game. They just played better. refer to some of my next comments. And by the way, your basketball reference had absolutely NOTHING to do with this.

  • All you seahawks fans can hopefully acquire some retribution MONDAY NIGHT IN DENVER!

  • Did the seahawks get screwed? Yes. they played a little better. This maybe was the worst played superbowl ever. But the steelers played worse. Im a seahawk fan and if we did anything we would have dominated. 21-10 and no play decided the game. Bill levy the dumbass ref did. I wish steelers fans would just admitt that they jipped one.

By the way your quarterback rothlisfuck sucks. no controversy with that. Just fact. Second worse passer rating in the history of the superbowl.

  • Your statement about Ben shows that all you see is what happens in Seahawks games. Ben played outstanding games in three consecutive playoff games as the visiting underdog. He did have a bad game in the SB, but rebounded to make one of the most exciting drives in Super Bowl history last year. So Ben's got 2 rings and proved he can win under the most pressure. What's Hasselbitch done? Oh that's right, he hasn't been to a playoff game since the Steelers sent him home crying with the rest of you.

  • Haha atleast learn some facts idiot. The seahawks were in the playoffs 2 straight years and 5 straight from 2003-2008. The steelers didn't even make the playoffs after XL. And everyone took our side after XL including the analysts who picked you to win.

As far as rothlisfuck goes. Hasselbeck dominates him. He's the most overrated in the league. That last drive in superbowl 43? Against the worst defense in the history of the superbowl. And you still almost lost. He sucks. It's fact.

  • For a guy who's big on facts, how is it that the Cardinals defense is the worst in the Superbowl? Better yet, what does it mean or matter that "everyone took our side"? Do you mean others cried with you after the game? Hasselbeck dominates? How so? He's been in the league 10 years to Ben's 5, are his stats twice as high? Not even close. Not to mention, Hasselbeck has never beat Roethlisberger. So how is he dominant?

  • haha now ur backing the cardinals defense? I'll give you a fact. They allowed the most td's of any superbowl team EVER. The play where holmes caught it at the 35 and ran to the 10, good defense? Any even average team would have tackled him forced a field goal and overtime.

I'm done arguing with ur ignorant dumbass. You guys won whatever. But ur QB sucks and one day when he doesn't get bailed out and beats a good team get back to me. He's not elite. Go wave ur depressing yellow towel faggot.

  • beat a good team? How about Denver, Indy and Cincy in 05? They were the top three teams in the AFC that year. Last year we had the toughest schedule in the league and won the Super Bowl. By the way, the Cardinals were good enough to sweep your shitty team last year. Not to mention, you're team wears teal and I'm a faggot? Fail.

  • @chillin13579

I agree, Hawks got screwed by officiating, but don't be a jerk. :)

  • 1. hasselbeck getting shanked

    2. D-Jack "push off"

    3. Big ben td sneak that he said he didnt think he made it

    4. the holding call

And numerous others that they didnt show you because they werent at the ball

plus did anyone one see james harrison man handle that cardinal unnessisarliy in the last superbowl

    Two things

    1. Steelers are a dirty team

    2. the steelers were wanted to win in the whole us besides washington and a few exeptions so the nfl or refs fixed it

  • Yup. Pittsburgh has some aggressive players and they are called dirty cheaters. New England uses surveillance cameras to spy on the other teams and no one seems to care.

Seems backwards if you ask me... Not sure if it is just angry fans pissed about their shot taken away or if it just haters or trolls, but guess what? The Steelers are a pretty damn good team, even if you want to deny or skew it. The Seahaws are also good when they get their stuff together. Just one team made a bigger push then.

  • Sorry... Misspelled Seahawks at the last part.

  • Seahawks fans may be bitchier than Flyers fans

  • The Hasselbeck block was bad, but they could have called Seattle for about 10 more holding calls. Farrior, Haggans were held all day long.

Bottom line, players decide games, not the refs. Refs make bad calls in every game. You gotta overcome and ignore them.

And if it wasn't for Ben throwing a bad red-zone pick, it was about to be 21-3, game over and we're not even talking about this.

I just get sick of fans blaming the refs for everything. It's just weak to do that.

  • because its true. you can say that so easily because your team got away with it. If you were a seahawk fan, you would be saying the same things as us.

I find it ironic that the pittsburgh fans all "see the truth" while all the seahawk fans are whiny idiots.

The pittsburgh fans would say the steelers won that super bowl fairly even if jesus himself told them otherwise.

Its the people who dont watch sports that can make a correct choice, and I'm sure they would all say the seahawks win.

  • I don't care who "would say the seahawks win"... bottom line. THEY DIDN'T WIN. Deal with it. That was 4 years ago. Quit crying about it.

You're an embarrassment to the sport to still be crying about the refs 4 years after the fact. All you see is YOUR side of it. I know there were some bad calls and mistakes ON BOTH SIDES just like in EVERY game.

One team overcame them and made plays. The other didn't. THAT'S why we won.

Good luck this year. Your team's looking pretty good!

  • I am the only one who see's my side only? Try convincing a steeler fan that rothlessburger didnt cross the goal line.

YES HE DID! YES HE DID! YES HE DID!

They shut out everything but ther own little ideas, because they consider themselves better then any other team.

Its pretty easy to over come a team thats getting penalized every play.

You would like to think the number 6 seed overcame the powerful 1 seed by pure talent, it's embarassing to you if you didnt deserve the win!

  • Who CARES? Fine, take away the TD and say we don't go for it on 4th-n-inches, and kick the field goal. So you only lose 17-10.

    Guess what? You still LOST.

Or quit getting penalties if it's "so easy to overcome".

Don't blame us for your failures or a couple of calls.

Or just quit complaining and get ready for 2009.

    Enough already.

  • Last I checked, it wasn't the refs who gave up a 75 yard TD to an undrafted free-agent.. wasn't the refs who threw a red-zone INT in the 4th... wasn't the refs who gave up a very predictable trick-play TD that even the Browns fan watching the game next to me saw coming... wasn't the refs who blew the clock-management at the end of both halfs for the 'Hawks... etc. etc.

Gimme a break. Quick making excuses and start sleeping again. This is SOOOOOOO 2006!

    How's 2009 looking for you?

  • Well, it was the Seahawks who gave up that run. However, that pick was set up when Sean Locklear was called for holding, nullifying a play that took Seattle from the 19-yard line to the one. The trick-play was set up by the subsequent interception. (And helped when Matt Hasselbeck , who was now a defensive player, was flagged for making a low-block while tackling the defender. Last time I check, defenders don't block.) As for the clock management. . . We that could have been handled better.

  • Everyone who complains about this game needs to just get over it. I'd be upset to, but i wouldn't make up rediculous conspiracy theories. The calls were correct. I can't believe there's anything to debate over.

  • I for one do not believe in conspiracy theories. I just think that the NFL could not see Jerome Bettis lose in the last game of his career. He had to go out a champion. Bettis was a great player, a first ballot Hall of Famer. But it wouldn't have been right for him to lost a championship (In his hometown, no less.) I do not think the calls were correct. Even if they were, what of the Steelers? I watched Alan Faneca tackle Leroy Hill on that QB sneak. The ref was about ten feet away. No flag.

  • What does that bettis stuff mean then? That isn't even a factor if u don't think the game was unfair.

That's the first time i heard of that faneca-hill play, but i know all the other calls were correct. except maybe the hasselbeck low block.

  • the fucking refs cost seattle the game!! now you steelers fans now that and it shakes you up because you don't want to be reminded of it. END OF STORY BITCHES!!

  • yeah you know i was being reminded of that when you guys won a few games this year and we were winning our 2nd in 4 years......END OF STORY BITCHES!!!!!

  • hey im a seahawks fan but the refs made some bad calls i know but the steelers are truely a better team than us not in 05 we should of had that if it wasnt for the two flags that cost the game which shouln of been called but now the seahawks aint nuthin but hey one a hawk fan always a hawk fan.but this year im votin for the saints or redskins

  • Wow, what whiners, if Seattle lost by 3, or 4, understandable, YOU LOST BY 11! TO A 6 SEEDED TEAM! your coach cost you the game...

  • I still cant get over that game and how bad the refs sucked!

  • oh this makes me sad i cant watch it...

  • Seattle lost by 11 points. It wasn't a close game. Video evidence clearly shows Ben breaking the plain and the push-off. "Almost half of the Steelers team" have never admitted anything about that game because there was nothing to admit.

  • They won because of Pissburgh's "penalty flag defense" If this game is called straight up, stealers lose by a least 11.

  • @Toomany10pins

The officiating in this game was pretty awful. But don't act like the Seahawks played a good game or anything. If that game is called fairly the game goes down to the wire.

  • heres the funny thing, if the refs would have been doing there damn jobs then Seattle would have walked away with the superbowl, almost half of the Steelers team admitted that, now dont you think that if the Steelers think that then its true, Seahawks rule,

    R.I.P. Superbowl win (2005)

but theres rumors going around that Seahawks are going to the superbowl again this year, so Seahawks fans, keep your heads up!!!

  • horrible clock management, running back forgetting how to run, throwing an INT inside the 20, giving up a 3rd and 23, a 75 yard TD run, and a sick trick play, and missing 2 field goals is what lost the game for you. Where do the refs play into that? and the only TD you scored was after an interception that was returned to the 20yd line The push-off was obvious and big ben's TD was impossible to see. all your mistakes were made at crucial moments..not our fault, be mad at your team for sucking!

  • did you watch the game..? if it were the other way around you all would be bitching too. the hawks could have beat your team even with all the things your team did that day... but the refs were in the tank for the steelers.

  • it was the other way around a few weeks befor that when we played the colts in the divisional round but we pulled it together in the RCA dome and won the game when it seemed everything was against us.....that's what real champions do.....by the way how bout 2 in 4 years!

  • You pulled it together? As I recall, it was Mike Vanderjagt who shanked the potentially game-tying field goal.

As for the call (Polamalu's interception ruled an incomplete pass.), was it a bad call. Yes, I think it was. Should the play been ruled an interception, with Pittsburgh taking over in the fourth quarter? Yes. Does that make it right for the officials to nullify just about every big play the Seahawks made? No. Two wrongs do not make a right. And in both games the officials were wrong.

  • I have googled the crap out of this topic and still see nothing of playoff taping. Just regular season games.

  • i admit that we lost but that shit was rigged.. fuken Pittsburgh refs. I mean we would have shit on steelers if it was fair. i mean now mabye the steelers are better cuz we lost hella good ppl i mean you could beat us now but in 05 we would have owned.. fuck big ben!

  • Hawks in '05 weren't as good as you think.

Their Division sucked and the NFC as a whole was weak.

They beat 2 5th, 6th seed teams in playoffs and would have lost to the Giants had thier kicker not kept missing chip shots and you played back ups vs Colts, Should have been

    11-5.

Pitt was 11-5 in tougher division and Conference and should have been 13-3, losing 2 games in OT with a back up QB.

In SB Hawks missed 2 FGs, dropped 5 balls, poor clock work, 5 of 17 on 3rd down, NFL MVP contained.

  • If you guys had been 13-3 you would have had to play the pats, who would have taken a big shit on you like always.

Not as good as you think? What? if we lose to dallas, they're 10-6 lose to ny their 12-4 what do you mean not that good? you don't go 13-3 by luck dumbass. 452 points scored, 271 given up? What the fuck Seattle team are you talking about?

  • NE was 10-6 in '05 and got worse near the end where as Pitt got better..

We played them in week 3 of '05 and lost 23-20at the gun to a last sec FG.

The clok keeper at Hinez Field gave screwed up the clock and gave NE too much time, it should ahve gone to OT.

In '04 we slapped them 34-20 and it's known fact now that they used the D taped D signals from the reg season loss for the AFC title game that year.

The NFC Sucked in '05 and '06.

8-8 was playoff record over there both years.

  • I have yet to hear of any official proof the Pats taped in championship games so that don't count partner.

  • Goodel admitted to Sen Spector that he destoryed tapes going back to 2000.

Every Pitt game was recorded 3 reg season and 2 AFC title games.

I'm not sure what they can accomplish by taping the first half of the post season games and trying to use it for the 2nd half, but anytime a reg season game is taped as in

'04 and you meet them again in the playoffs, as we did, it can be used casue they have so much time to study.

Our D crushed NE in Oct '04 then couldn't stop crap in the Title game.

  • Thanks for the song at the end.

It really feels good to hear a Seattle fan celebrate the Steelers Victory.

  • to all seahawks fans: we won get over it bud! go steelers

  • Steelers steel victories and they even admit it....what the fuck who ever said they didnt get screwed they sure hell got screwed

  • maybe we`ll get another chance this year

  • hines most of the penaltys you wanted were not penaltys. pushing a guy in the back is not bad enough for blocking in the back. ill have to look at the bryce play. i havent seen that one.

  • We didn't get screwed and we didn't make that bad of mistakes. We were totally capable of overcoming the willie parker td then the refs had to help them out (again) since ben couldn't stop throwing to the secondary. Steelers were good, but they shouldn't have won that game.

  • I assume you're refering to the refs helping us again when Haggins is grasped and hooked to the Ground by Locklere.

Ealier Haggigs gets a sack on a declined hold by, guess who, Locklere.

Later when Matt is wronly called for the low block, we should have gotten 15 anyway when your boy Locklere slams Towensand in the back.

I guess the refs didn't aid the Hawks when Fisher bloks Ben in the back with a push to the ground on the int return right in front of the side judge.

  • and im not referring to THIS year, but the one the year we SERVED U in Super bowl XL!!

  • nah, the worst officiating was in the Divisional Playoff game this year against the Colts. They should have been called for false starting 1 play, and Polamalu Totally picked that pass. I say the refs at that game need to either quit smoking cocaine, get glasses or quit they're jobs. We got screwed in that game! it was THOSE officals that were A. Biased, B. bribed or C. having affairs with the Colts!

  • yea but who lost that super bowl oh yea seahawks

    steelers all the wAy

  • wat's the first song?

  • Seahawks: such a good team, so many mistakes in the Super bowl. STEELERS KICK ASS!!

  • Seattle got screwed plain and simple!!

  • We didn't get screwed we lost by 2 scores and needed two TDs to win.

We started dropping balls at the worst possible time again, Josh should have made those kicks in his range in a dome, Matthew and D. Jack needed to know where the sideline was on deep routes and Shaun looked like he didn't want to be there at times.

We got lucky on the Hendron pick because Pitt was way to close to blowing it open 21-3 which would have lead to 28-3 and no one would remember refs, we should have played better.

  • hinesxl you are obviously a duchebag.

  • Had to be the worst officiating in any game in the hitory of the NFL.

  • None the refs were down graded and received a positive report. You just don't understand the defenitions of the infractions. You have obviously never read what constitutes Offensive pass int. which is "Pushing off with and extended arm and gasining seperation"

Holding is "Grasping" or impeading the route of the defender by encircleing/hooking with the arm, Locklere did both outside the frame.

The Matt call was a naked eye mistake and was post poss. anyway, Ben crossed the plane while airborne.

  • No doubt about it. By the way everyone should know that Bellingerga (I think thats his name) is a retard.

  • I meant that it was the worst reffing in a game and HinesXL is making excuses for the most one-sided calls ever.

  • HINESXL can you agree with on this One of the refs of Super Bowl 40 was from pittsburgh. Dont you think that the NFL should have a rule that no ref in the Super Bowl can be from the town of either team playing in the game. I would say that if there was ref from Seattle in the game

  • It would be unfair to the ref if he was one of the best and earned the right to officiate a SB and be screwed out of the money and carrer advancement becasue he had the bad luck of his home town team making it the same year he did.

Fact is the one who was "Supposedly" from Pitt called the OPI that the VP said was so text book that he would've down graded him had he not called it.

So being from Pitt would have screwed him had he held his flag fearing that people would have thought he was bias.

  • Your the only Steeler fan that has disagreed with me on this. What about being fair to the seahawks? One guy Vs 53 players?

  • You don't think that he wasn't observed to make sure he wasn't biased, or that he didn't realize that he needed to be on his toes?

The ref that signaled that Ben was down then signaled TD wasn't from Pitt.

The umpire who upheld the Ben TD and threw the holding flag on Locklere was'nt either and the side judge who called Matt for the low block wasn't either.

The back judge is the one in question and he called the OPI that had he not he would have lost points from M. Pereria who scores them.

  • In the history of 42 SB and tons of other playoff games I'm sure that several refs have been originally from one of the home towns.

  • dude like 2 or 3 were from Pittsburgh.

  • Seahawks were 5 of 17 on 3rd down, missed 2 FGs, dropped 4 balls, NFL MVP under 100, and the worst clock management.

Jackson extended his arm and pushed away so bad Hope leaves his feet and Jackson gained seperation.

Locklere encircled/hooked Haggins and the hand grasped outside of the frame of the body.

Bens ball was over while airborne.

Hines push off was within the 5 yard chuck zone.

It appeared that Matt tried to go low through a blocker to make the tackle,it was post possession anyway.

  • hey you only got one bad call i can name at least one...two...three...four...five bad calls

1)block below the knees on a tackle

2)holding on a play that would put us on the one yard line

3)Rothlisberger "extra strech" with his knees on the ground

4)pass inteference on bobby engram that would take away the game leading touchdown drawing first blood

5)the worst pass interference non-call in the history of the super bowl a smack to the face

but hey if you want to take the win you can do that

  • #4 that is offensive pass intf he pushed Hope, Plax when he was a Steeler got called for smaller push offs. you cannot do what Engram did.

  • yea exactly, rothlisberger had both knees on the ground when he got tackled and he wasnt past the endzone line and THEN he extends his arm and for some reason they count it as a touchdown.

  • Because, if you look closely, you'll see that Roethlisberger actually LOSES CONTROL OF THE BALL before coming down. By the time he regains control (and BEFORE he stretches the ball out) the ball has broken the plane.

  • Matt appeared to go through a blocker low to make a tackle,it was a mistake but it was post possession. Locklere's hold prevented a sack, he was encirciling/hooking with his arm. Ben's ball was over while air borne. The OPI was so obvious the VP said he would ahve down graded the back judge had he not called it. Jack extends the arm and gains seperation and replants his feet from the leverage.

The Hines push was within the 5 yard chuck zone.

Read the rule book dum ass and learn the defenitions

  • looks like your a wanabee of HinesXL

  • @whitefoot123 How can you be in more denial? Do you know ANYTHING about football? Let me try to break this down so a retard can understand. I'll go in the same order you went.

    1) I don't care if you are a QB or not, you don't tackle by diving at the lead blocker's legs. That gets people injured.

    2) It was a clear hold, what else can I say? He grabbed the jursey and HELD ON even when Haggans had gotten past. What do you think a hold is?

  • @whitefoot123

    3) The refs clearly didn't call it a TD because he reached AFTER he was down. DUH!!!!!! It was when he was in mid-air, before getting knocked backward. Still could of been called either way, but later prooven to be a TD.

    4) An OBVIOUS example of pass interference. You can't PUSH the defender backwards to gain separation after 5 yards or when the ball is passed. You can see Hope get pushed. Both of his feet are off the ground and going backward. Do you think he hopped on his own?

  • @whitefoot123

    5) Definately not the worst non-call interference in SB history. You once again show that you do not know shit about football. YES, it should have been a penalty, but a 5 yard minor for illegal contact. The ball was not being thrown or already in the air, which would constitute pass interference.

So you are 1/2 out of 5. You, like all other people that argue about this game, are completely clueless. If ANYONE wants to waste their time, try to proove me wrong!!

  • The Seahawks screwed the Seahawks, not the refs. Between the dropped balls and horrible time mismanagement, the Seahawks screwed themselves from winning. Blaming the refs is an excuse for your team's failure. The Steelers bad a horrible call go against them in the divisional round of the playoffs against the Colts which could have drastically altered the entire game, but the Steelers still stood firm and won that game, because great teams find away to win no matter what the condition.

  • lol lame. what was the score this year? oh yeah 21-0

seahawks are the benefactors of the worst division in football.

  • first of all darkkoji45 shut up ur gay get over it and 2nd of all it wasnt 17-14 brown missed that fg that wat screwed you b/c u had a chance at the end to win it and u might have but hes the one who lost it 4 u so shut up and get over the fact the seahawks suck hairless nuts like yours

  • HERE WE GO STEELERS

  • pittsburgh sucks. i hate them because of something personal. Go SEAHAWKS! KICK SOME STEELERS ASS

  • SEAHAWKS BITCHES!!!!!!!!!

  • CORRECT.

  • dude, whats taken you so long to delete this video?

  • well, the seahawks almost beat the refs and steelers, this vid deserves to stay up.

    seahawks-10

    refs-21

  • Pittsburgh Steelers Always Great team 5 Superbowl titles...Seattle Who?

  • steelers started about 40 years before the hawks, dumbass

  • Do they need 75 Years of history to be great? Ok, Do you mean that need more time? Isn´t enought 31 years,Be seat and pray

  • 5 rings and you Seahawks?!

  • steelers started about 40 years before the hawks, dumbass

  • you girls still crying about SB XL??

  • steelers live up to there name they stole our superbowl.12th man loud and proud

  • the seahawk fans are always trying to come up with lame ass excuses for choking at the super bowl. I guess when the steelers beat them again 21-0 they proved who the better team was. STEELERS 4 LIFE!!!

  • we all know that the steelers can beat the seahawks anytime, anywhere

  • In summary, all the calls went one way. They should have been called both ways.

  • I also disagree with "The Steelers made plays the Seahawks didn't" The Seahawks DID make plays, they were just called back by the refs. The Steeler's big plays weren't

  • A player will not always be called for offsides if they get back before the offense is set. I believe Al's exact words were "close to a horse collar." Kinda different from "IS a horse collar." Do we start calling "close to a TD catch" a "TD catch" now?

Are you SURE it was the refs that cost Seattle the game? It wouldn't have anything to do with missed FGs, dropped passes, bad clock mgmt, Matt's INT, not stopping Pit on 3rd & 28, allowing the trick play or Parker's 75 yard TD, right?

  • Just my opinion. and BTW he didn't get back onsides. Yeah the Seahawks made mistakes but so did the Steelers. Both teams made big plays, its just the refs kept calling the Seahawk/s plays back. Not to mention how the refs calls put the Seahawks in tough positions.

  • Jackson clearly pushed off. It doesn't matter if that isn't always called (like it should).

Big Ben, if you look carefully at his TD run, actually LOST CONTROL of the ball before he was down (by the time he regained possession, the ball was across the line).

The "phantom hold:" The man encircled the defender with his arms which is grounds for a flag.

What REALLY was the difference was when the time came to make a play, only one team did.

  • I disagree, though I'm not a seahawk fan. That PI call was BS because the Steeler defender was the one who initiated contact. Also, at one point 4 consecutive plays were called incorrectly against the Seahawks. The officiating had a huge part in this

  • There's "contact" all the time. When it becomes an issue is when you clearly push off as Jackson did.

I was at the game, and I can't seem to recall four consecutive incorrect penalties against Seattle. Care to elaborate?

  • Start: First and 10 Seahawks at Steeler 19

    1) Haggans and Hampton Jump offsides, no call. (This was the holding call on Locklear play)

2)Haggans was offside the next play

  • 3) Alexander got horse-collared by Joey Porter, saving a big gain

    4) Hasselback threw an INT and was called for a block below the waist, even though he CLEARLY was making a tackle

  • Holding can be called on every play, the question is, why was ONLY called on one team and when they made their biggest plays?

  • Seattle lost by 11 points. It wasn't a particularly close game. How many points do you have to lose by before you'll stop blaming the refs?

Way to step up for the re-match too on 10-7-07 too. 21-0 Steelers? Was that the refs fault also?

  • no that was actually that fat ass Holmgren who couldn't coach a pop warner team

  • It's oday, with the current trend, the Seahawks will get another shot at a Super Bowl ring in 30 years.

  • I still can't beleive my favorite team was ripped 4 dis shit. That super bowl was Seattle's and every body knows it. Steelers suck!!!

    SEAHAWKS 4 Lyfe!!!

  • U suck steelers 4 life and guess wut homes........how many superbowls did the steelers win oh yeah 5 how many superbowls did the seahawks win none

  • steelers=queers

  • The defenition of Offensive pass Interference is "Pushing Off and Gaining an advantage"

If you need proof that D. Jackson actually pushed, as if the pushing on video isn't enough, look at the DB, Chris Hope's feet.

He actually leaves the ground from the impact.

The defenition of Offensive Holding is "Grasping with hands or ARMS on the outside(Shoulders) not the inside,(Chest).

  • It's because the DB plays basketball and can fake a charge with just fingertips touching his shoulder. dumbass.

  • Hey Seamonkey, do they sell bananas at Qwest Field fo you an all yo dipshit homies?

You notice how there is no buzz outside of Seattle about the Seacocks. BUT the Steelers Black and Gold Brigade meets up at the Hooters by the Tacoma mall and watches Steelers games there, plus at Sideline Sports Bar in Bellevue. The Seacocks were a fluke long-shot team that got lucky, and ended up the Jerry Cooney of the NFL.

  • Yeah i agree!! LOL

  • The Cry Hawks were 5 of 17 on 3rd down in SB XL.

They had no vertical game and we sacked their ass 3 times and wold have had 2 more with out holds.

Seattle gave up a 3rd and 28 for 37 yards, a 75 yard TD RUN, the longest in SB history and a 43 yard TD pass, the only one by a WR in SB history and soemehow they think the deserved to win.

How much Vodka do you put in your capachinos?

    Get real!

  • u guys need to shut the fuck up, if the steeles had those bad calls u will be bitchin 2. even the people who comidate the game sed the calls were inaccurate. dumbasses

  • steelers had a harder season the the seahawks in 05-06 but the seahawks was defeintly ripped off in the super bowl. if u just take the big ben td away and give us the darell jackson td, we would of been up. the mvp of the super admittid the sehawks shounld of won. go seahawks!!!

  • i guess offensive pass interference doesnt matter to you. Oh yeah ben was in. the ball crossed then when back as long as it crosses it counts. retard! stop cryin. we got 5 superbowls hahahahahahahaha. dont even compare the 2 franchises

  • u dont noe shit about nutin if u saw the game and called it fair dumbass

  • All you fags who re like "seahawks were ripped off" and "seahawks were the best team of 05" but i have a question who won the super bowl? i thought it was the steelers last time i recalled Steelrrs were easily the best team of 2005 so shut ur mouths

    GO PATS!!!!!

  • umm the steelers were 11-5

  • Everybody, this is a guy that has no idea what he's talking about.

If you knew anything, you'd know we went undefeated at home, went 13-3, went to our first SB, and then got cheated.

We would have shutup about the superbowl if we had thought it was a clean loss, but it wasnt.

    Seahawks-10

    Refs-21

  • this video made me chuckle a little

    thanks hunter076

and to all those who commented

theres no arguement about who the best team of 2005 was

    nfc is wack

    here we go pittsburgh

  • ok, Steelers fan or not, you cant hide the fact the Best Team of 05 was the Seahawks, just because you got that one win means nothing, Seahawks dominated all season, steelers lucked up to make it in the playoffs, and then BARLEY Beat the colts, Seahawks Dominated in the Play offs, Seahawks Came Back next season, went to the Divisional Round of the PlayOffs, while Steelers found a nice 8-8 season and found a nice big Rivalry with the BROWNS..HA HA HA

  • plus during that year the NFC was the easiest conference so Seattle had no competition that year thats why it looked like they did so well

  • Deny it as much as you WANT,keep living in your fantasy land.

    SEAHAWKS WERE RIPPED OFF!!!!

  • how did that game turn out?

  • steelers didn't cheat

    seahawks just got no calls

    plus they played awful

mostly jeramy stevens, who was scared of joey porter

  • your support is, your support is, your support is FUCKING SHIT!, your support is fucking shit

  • apparently seacawk fans think the rule book should be thrown out during the super bowl

treat yourselves to a latte or pop dance to "smells like teen spirit" to help you get over that fact that the steelers were far superior and won fair and square

damn that 5th lombardy trophy is so shiny and beautiful hahahahaahaha

  • Looks like the hilljack stealer fans are STILL insecure about their tainted title that was compliments of the striped shirts. The whole nation knows XL* was a sham (see the ESPN poll taken right after the game) and the title was handed to Pissburg on a silver platter thanks to the zebra's and their boss Mike "pissant" Pereira. I hope you enjoyed 8-8 last year, because black and piss will be 6-10 this year.

  • insecure hahahaha keep telling yoruself that it will help you sleep better at night

It's called pointing out facts. Most people are morons so i'm not surprised they thought the win was tainted. Smart guys like me follow the rule book and also remember how your kicker missed two field goals, your big mouth tight end dropped multiple passes, and your fat coach mismanaged the clock

  • if you still want to think the win is tainted that is fine, a tainted win is better than a loss hahahahahaha

and the steelers were better than the seacawks last year, our qb was in a major accident, appendectomy, and had another concusssion and we play in the brutal afc

seacawks play in the pathetic nfc plus the worst conference

  • we dont play in the worst division the bears do. The steelers were beter than the hawks last year? bottom line is we made the playoffs with too many injuries to count and anyways dont matter who you play or how you win, like you said about the supebowl, it dont matter how you win.

  • the seahawk division is worse than the steelers division, the nfc is much weaker than the afc and our qb was in a mororcycle accident, had an appendecetomy and a concussion during the season

  • lol hassellbeckwas out longer than big ben. I'd just keep charlie batch in he's waaaaay better. I don't care bout the div or conference a win is a win and a lose is a lose especially if your a steelerfan

  • did you even watch the superbowl? doesnt sound like you even watch football at all.

Game was OBVIOUSLY rigged with all the calls only happening when we made a big play.

    seahawks-10

    refs-21

    ACTUAL SCORE---

    Seahawks-17

    Steelers-14

  • the steelers beat your team fair and square

    read the rule book

the fact that you seahawk fans are still bitching about it makes the win even sweeter hahaha we are in your head until the day you die hahaha

and then we beat you 21-0 this season hahahaha

  • WAH WAH WAH! Cry me a fuckin river. Go call the WAHHHHHMBULANCE! Want some cheese with that wine? How about a dose of cold hard truth served up with your crow?

Steelers have 5 Superbowl titles and Seahawks have ZERO.

  • Steelers started 40 years before the seahawks did.

Give the seahawks 40 years, we could do the same.

first 40 years, less teams, easier for a SB win.

    get your fucking facts straight.

  • By the way steelers, hows offseason treatin ya?

    LOL

  • Pretty good actually. Watching the best player in the NHL, Sidney Crosby, tear up the league.

  • NHL?

pittsburgh seriously has nothing else to do?

Sonics are more fun to watch than even the greatest NHL team..

    and sonics are 9-24.

  • Hope you will still be able to say that once the team gets sold...

  • Better than watching hockey, doesnt matter where they are.

whatever, good luck with your figure skating.

  • did u actually think that seahawks would win with all the cheating the steelers did that year

  • steelers+refs=BIG GAME WIN im not a seahwaks fan

  • cry hawks

  • Go Manning beat steeler.

  • Steel cheat and ugly QB cheat. U dont QB MVP? U suck. I Love packer and Colt Faver and Manning beat any NFL. Fuck steelers. steeler was lot loss last season u dont beat up?. They said boo u suck steelers. They said bored XL NFL it easy?.
