if you look towards the left of the screen where the crowd is there is a really bright spot, that is me and my friends. we are glowing with all of our glowy stuff on hahaha
I am going to see Taste Of Chaos tomorrow and I am hoping for a good response from the lovely Rock lovin' rednecks of florida ^^; *dry laugh* Not so much hope in them, but we are pretty open people.
I am totally there for D'espairsRay!XDD
I just heard of the Underneath...just now in fact. They rock XD. And I don't really care much for MUCC, but they are kool.
I went to the NY show, and people were being extremely negative about the Jrockers. I LOVE Jrock. I think it takes a lot more energy and artistic integrity to create the music Jrockers do, but to me, rock is pretty much rock, no matter what language it's in. People who can't open their minds to it don't deserve to listen to it in the first place.
The vocalist really DOES have the most prominent cheek bones-- When I went i said "Okay im seeing if it's just the photos or not" And you could see them from way far away XDD They were awesome. They deserved center stage.
I don't mean to diss my own crowd... but seriously, Camden NJ was DEAD... D-E-A-D DEAD... I mean like... There was no enthusiasm whatsoever until Bullet for my Valentine came on, and to me they just sounded like white noise... XP
StormFox13 - Maybe that's cuz most of the audience was comprised of lazy depressive Emo's who "Don't jump around at shows" the J-Rock kids are always more enthusiastic and bouncey. I hope like hell J-Rock takes over and Emo dies or something.
Lowell, MA was pretty dead too. Some people were "hatin'" too, saying, "We bombed you 50 years ago!" and stupid crap like that. I give credit to some guy that said, "They're good when they don't sing", because at least he appreciated SOMETHING about them.
Was D'espairsRay good? They're the reason I went but I missed them...so it was pretty disappointing for me. Like I said though, the Underneath weren't bad. I liked them better than Mucc at least.
Aw, god, I hate myself for getting lost on the way there. Speaking of growls, wasn't it pretty awesome/funny when Tatsuro of Mucc was like, "LOW-DURRRR" when he was trying to get the crowd pumped up?
Yeah, Despa was a little rough at the camden show... MUCC was musically on target, but Tatsurou screamed himself hoarse two songs in... but Underneath did EXCELLENT... Totally should have gotten center stage... And someone at the Camden show said "Get the Japs off the stage!!!" Tatsurou just smiled like a dweeb... Gotta love him!!!
Majelly - How many J-Rock bands have you actually listened to? Just curious... If the answer is "none" look for Dir en grey and MUCC. DeG have cd's selling at Hot Topic (avoid Marrow of a Bone, get Withering to Death instead) and MUCC have their "Best Of" album selling at Fye. It is good to try new things. Emo is running itself in the ground.
If ur talkin about what I think you were that was Idiot Pilot and they are NOT japanese. Most of the Japanese bands don't know english extremely well so they don't even think of saying bad things to us lol. In my opinion Idiot Pilot is crap
I looked up IdiotPilot just to see what the hell they are, they're "Nintendocore" mildy interesting, but I still say any J-Rock band on the tour is better than most of the other shyte bands that're on Taste of Chaos. Oh and MUCC, D'espa and Underneath have CD's selling in Hot Topic. This can either be good or bad, but atleast it beats paying $40 for frigging CD's. Look for their stuff tomorrow (the 18th).
i saw them in denver....
and you know what?
those RTOC emo crows is damn ignorant!
they didnt get any reponse at all!
you should see the jrock shows over here in germany!

I agree. I was there too. Not much love for the JROCK artists. Only a handful. =.=;
Emos..Bah. They ( as in the Underneath ) would've totally rocked the stage if they were on the main. >.>;

Oh, man...THEY. WERE. AWESOME. LIVE. Hearing Hizumi singing in that gruff voice live; Zero, Karyu & Tsukasa rocking...AMAZING.
Unfortunately, like MUCC & the Underneath, they didn't receive much a response. Though I over heard some people preferring D'espairsRay over MUCC.
Man...I should've stood near the stage when the JROCKers were on. I could've grabbed Tsukasa's drum sticks. TTATT
