@maximolerma The 8th gen is atleast 20 MPH faster at top speed. They run the same quarter mile times really. Also, about after 100 or so, the 8th should pull ahead. The gearing is kind of close the 8th's, but the 9th only revs to 7K, which makes more shifting time, and you run out of RPM's. Even if you're ahead of the 8th, it will eventually get ahead. But ive done races with my k20 swapped 00 coupe vs k24 swapped 00 coupe, and i'd always pull ahead after 100 or so. ...just saying

ive read that its being changed for 2013 also. i hope its not too different looking. ive grown to the 2012 look with the HFP kit. its not bad to me. only thing i think should be different, is for us tuners to change the header, and maybe make it a 3 lobe VTEC on BOTH cams.

The Civic Si will see major exterior upgrades for the 2013 model. Because we all know its ugly. God knows its ugly. 2013 will be a great year that will put the 2012 in the shadows of history, and hopefully forgotten. BOOM!

Lol did you turn off your vsa that shit slows down your shifting and when you shift dont let the gas all the way out let it come out half way.. because the stupid rev hang and the drive by wire throttle body are very slow reacting

yea its the real one... bought it tho, and yes the 9th gen civic is way better... im in stock right now too, because the car just came out, so they my parts are not out yet, but once i get a cold air n a skunk 2 exhaust ohhh mannn lol, but thanks i love the 9th and mine is the coupe so even better!!!
