Jesus was definitely queer: he was asexual (the queerest of all) or gay, or transgender, or at least bi. there is plenty of evidence for this, check it out. God was also gay..he created the world and man in his image, and loved them, which is a "same love" or homo-love. God is gay, too.
Can't believe this garbage... KYLE... YOU ARE A HOMOSEXUAL... you have sex with other men.. now you want to drag Jesus into your little cesspool.... He preached against homosexuality... And you are a self appointed Reverand?.. hahahah.. you are a joke!
@Riceburnersrulexx@Riceburnersrulexx Jesus never preached against homosexuality. Your playful banter doesn't bother me and it actually just gives me a good laugh :) I like people that make me laugh so we could probably be fast friends! Anyway, before you go all fangs & claws on me again, at least educate yourself first. Tried to post a link but it wont work on here. Oh well, you can do the research yourself ;) Blessings~
@hutch1page ... You are the one not educated or in denial... Jesus said he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfull it.. if you knew what he was talking about you would know he was talking about the Law of Moses... Matthew 5:17-20...Homosexuals were put to death... if you actually think for one second the New Testament does not preach against homosexuality.. YOU are the one not educated and in your own little "New Age" world.
As a Christian minister (yes indeed) I happen to agree with much of what you said in this video. Unfortunately so many people, including Christians, allow their fears to dominate their words to others.
disowning your child for being ungodly, according to the bible's patterns, would be precisely the thing to do and would be a light punishment. After all, the supposed jesus of nazareth threatens those who don't follow him with A. death (gospel of luke) B. Eternal damnation in hellfire for minor transgressions. You can be proud of such a tradition of love I suppose from such a "'loving" story
@XforeverlongingX There is a lot of duality in the bible. Love & forgiveness vs hate & damnation. So which do people follow? Is both sides from "God"? If one studies the words of the mystics from any religion, they often all come to the same message: unity & love. The channel often gets tainted by our own pride or EGO. Or if people truly believe in the whole vengeful stuff- embrace it I say, and stop sugar coating stuff with love ;) hypocrisy if they preach one but act another.
@hutch1page Well, there is no option or command or allowance in the bible to cherry pick jesus's teachings and yet still have a shot at not going to hell. No, the words jesus supposedly uttered are very plain. In summary, you either follow him, or you do not. If you do not, then according to him, whom the entire religion is named after, you will be burned. The cherry picking "christians" don't impress me all that much
@hutch1page The type of "love" in the bible has its own duality. Number 1, it's mandated that you love a god. 2. You must fear and love the god at the same time. 3. You must love your enemies. None of which are moral teachings
@hutch1page No, actually, what you say is flat out false. "If one studies the words of the mystics from any religion, they often all come to the same message: unity & love" The supposed jesus said "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."
@XforeverlongingX It's personally hard for me to put much stock in the Bible, but again, it is not my path. However, there are many mystics alive today and those in history with personal writings that survived, that have come to the enlightened state of Loving All through Christianity. So it is possible and "God" speaks to them encouraging this. Thomas Merton is a favorite modern Christian mystic.
@hutch1page No. Anecdotal testimony of a primate hearing voices is not evidence for a supernatural being. If I accept your premise, he may not be said to be a christian. Comb through the bible and notice the misogyny, racism, ordered death of homosexuals, commanded genocide (Israelites + Amalekites), commanded child murder (Abraham), glorified rape (supposed incidents at Lot). A lot to be proud of and pathetic to write that a fellow primate knows the mind of a supernatural entity
@hutch1page And,I ought to add, without the bible, you do not have historical works detailing the supposed jesus of nazareth's supposed actions. The bible is all you have got as a testament to the christian faith. Those who do not "put much stock" in it deny its proposition, therefore they deny christianity since the bible is the only work left to explain it, at least a canonized version of its doctrine.
@XforeverlongingX Odin is actually a pretty cool guy. We've shared some interesting encounters ;) And yes, it is all the same which many mystics come to the same conclusion. Religion is a box of crayons, people just see in different hues and resonate with some over others. I prefer to paint a picture with all colors rather than just one or two, thus comes the Interfaith.
@hutch1page I prefer not to be owned by any color in any box. They don't come to the same conclusions because we'd not have inter-religious warfare if that were the case.
@hutch1page " this is just my perspective, take it or leave." How tolerant of you to say so. I read your website, visited your store, I know exactly where you are coming from.
@hutch1page The point is that religion = division at the core of it. The separation of the sheep and the goats. It's almost embarrassing to have to explain this to anyone.
@XforeverlongingX I agree. I am not religious nor encourage doctrine. This video is just food for thought for those who struggle with these issues. It's a long shot for any Christian watching this to have an 'ah-ha' moment, but at least this video is out there giving support.
@hutch1page But, worry not, my fellow primate. There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever for the tyrannical proposition of an eternal heavenly despot
I wish this could be played for every Christian who has done, is thinking about, or is going to kick their child out for being gay. Fantastic message. You're amazing.
