Thanks for sharing this.I would always look forward to spending the night with a good friend and watching Sir Cecil and the Vintage scary movies. He came to Columbia for a Boy Scout event and I still have my Sir Cecil patch. Great memories! Another video posted here about Sir Cecil on Halloween night has a former famous Channel 4 personality. If you grew up in Nashville in the early 70's you will get a kick out of who Sir Cecil dresses up as....
I think Russ McKown also was the "Tennessee Trash" dude in the anti-littering commercials the state sponsored. Those were the good ol' days I remember as a teen in Tennessee!
@mazakman1957 no, that was another dude who did "Tennessee Trash". Although Russ had another character Elrod I believe it was, in Tenn. Tourism commercials...and YES, those were the good ol days I remember too as a teen in Tennessee! ;-)
You are correct...I looked up the YouTube "Tennessee Trash" video, and there is a comment by the son of the star of the commercial..his name was Irving Kane.
MAN, they sure spread a lot of garbage on the highway to shoot that ad. I NEVER saw a road that bad here in Tennessee!
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! GREAT CHARACTERS, they are so well defined Can you tell me the exact years of air time for sir Cecil and Drs. Lucifer and Gangrene?
Dude, my mom gave me my old Cub Scout uni this week, and I have the same patch! Sir Cecil's Ghoul Patrol!! Total win!!!!

Great stuff!
Sir Cecil was on the air from 1970-73 - Ken Bramming (Dr Lucifur) in the 50s - I started my show in 1999.

You should have the 9pm central time on Saturday night and WZTV should drop the 9pm Sat news....

Wow! Classic stuff from Nashville TV.
Too bad it didn't make the cut.
You just got one more DVD sale, though.
