Did any musician ever play Old Devil Moon better than JJ? I think not. After his '54 recording of this with Mingus, Klook, and Wynton Kelly, he owned this one and I haven't heard anyone that took it away from him yet.

The one on The Eminent JJ johnson is better - had my dad transcribe when i was in high school and learned it note for note.
