  • FAKE

  • kl but fake

  • Hurr durr -insert big word here to look intelligent-. Durr Hurr Moron. Durr hurr hurr.

  • Unfake and straight

  • @KyWiStudios true / lie / hetrosexual

  • Absolutely classic... all the morons quoting they know physics and that this video is definitely real... do some research you idiots and look up other videos to see how stupid you really are. I feel sorry for such gullible people, you really believe anything don't you.... lol

  • @Inquisitor32 ok, the reason this happpens is forces. in the front of the ball, forces push backwards because of the wall. however, in the back of the ball, there is still the results of the force of the club pushing the ball forward. This causes the front to go back and back to push forwards, making the compression you see here. then it reverses direction once the net force becomes large enough to move the ball in the opposite direction.

  • @Inquisitor32 that is why golf balls are made at higher strengths at higher levels of golf... they are hit harder so are harder to compress as much. and it is also the time spent in compression that makes follow through so crucial.

  • If you hit a golf ball with a hammer it breaks open, what is the difference for the steel that it is hitting here?

  • wow.. so much bitching on here :L its like looking at an argument between a load of 14 yr old girls -.-

  • @barebackrocks yes i agree.

  • fake and gay....

  • @pigeoncesar Its not fake, learn something about physics you fuck

  • @DikoManable WATCH OUT GUYS WE HAVE A GOLFBALL PHYSICIST HERE!!!!11!!

  • How fast was the ball going?

  • everyone who thinks its rubber ball: please gtfo, you wont survive internet. I've played golf i know this is real

  • tis fake

  • Mayby to snakelord12's forehead

  • Ok now do that same thing to someones forehead

  • so fake i think its funny that so many people are buying this

  • @snakelord12 i guess you don't even know what your school book of physics looks like, huh?

  • phisic is awesome!

  • its a rubber ball

  • how can a golf ball even do that?

  • how did this get so many likes? THIS IS FAKE

  • @MegaBunky the likes are from people who know physics, like me... you on the other hand belong to the kind of people who are idiot enough to question the guys that trully know physics, without even openning a physics book in school...

  • @ELECTRIFYINGSKYWALKE say what ever u like but this is a REAL golf ball hitting steel. "REAL Golf Ball hitting steel in slow motion by the USGA" copy and paste that in the youtube search bar

  • @MegaBunky i already said that this is a real thing...

  • more like a rubber ball

  • bollox

  • guys this is definitely fake ... look at the top 2 related videos

  • Elastic deformation FTW!

  • golf lessons where never as interesting as with Dan's Gadgits

  • howd i get here from bowling tricks....

  • lodged*

  • you'd be finished if that hit you in the face and lodge into ur skull

  • holy smokes!

  • no-f*cking-way this shit is real xD

  • yeah, no. thats not what happens lol.. its plastic not jello.

  • I don't think, this is fake.

Materials can behave completely different, than the average person would expect.

Steel almost behaves like a liquid, if treated fast enough.

    Why not a golfball?

have a look here, type in:

    Druckversuch Golfball 2

In that experiment, the force is brought in place slowly and from the outside. In the highspeed experiment, the force comes from the inside by inertia and liquid-like pressure.

  • @wasistdaswasdasist Yes but the hard outer shell cracked. If you look at this the outer shell remains unblemished. That is why people are calling it fake. It would crack under those stresses if it was a real golf ball. (well i'm thinking titanium core ones.)

  • @forcytk you obviously dont take physics smartass

  • @wasistdaswasdasist This is fake, the USGA and R&A tested this themselves, watch it here /watch?NR=1&v=00I2uXDxbaE

  • crazy how it keeps is structure rather than cracking

  • fake

    fake

    fake

    fake

    fake

have i said that was fake yet if i havent.....

    FAKE

  • Fake. Real one posted by TheUSGA

  • Sorry, I don't buy it. Reacts more like a hollow rubber ball - possibly filled with water. Cool vid anyway.

  • I can't believe that. It would crack!!

  • Are you sure thats a golf ball?

  • Faked. Type in, Real golf ball hitting steel, to see a realistic demo of a 150 mph impact.

  • It's possible, but it has to go faster than 400MPH

  • Fake, unless of course it's a rubber ball.

  • this would make a cool screen saver

  • everyone that think s it is fake it is not be a little bit more respectful to the guy

  • Chuck Norris must of hit that ball!!!

  • so fake i say it

    3 different times

  • fake

  • fake

  • fake

  • THIS ISN'T ANIMATED AT ALL....

  • aren't they plastic??? plastic would crack and not return to its original form.

  • @LostPie depends what composition is that particular plastic; could be a derivate or mixed with a more flexible plastic, with elastic properties. think about it,if you think that golf balls were to break when hitting steel like in the video then ... wouldn't they break first when hit with the golf club ??

  • @LostPie no the outside is a compound including plasic, the inside is a mixure of compressed stuff, its very high tention, its like a ant sized atom bomb

  • fake

  • "TAKE TWO!!" *hits the camera*

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUH-

  • This is fake, the USGA and R&A tested this themselves, watch it here /watch?NR=1&v=00I2uXDxbaE

  • bullshit

  • Golf Ball hitting chuck Norris head...

  • @sverio12345

    Chuck Norris jokes are gay.

  • 0:21 white strawberry

  • fake

  • A professional golf swing is 100-120 mph. Tournament broadcasts usually show super slow-mo of the ball as it is struck. The ball does not behave like this. This is a fake.

  • starting at 0:16 is what my balls do when i sleep naked on my leather couch

  • no fuckin way.. no fuckin way!

  • Fake?

  • /watch?v=3SyEOr988cY

    Fail!

  • at what speed

  • No..fucking,,WAY.

  • ____tp://____ww.youtube.com/watch?v=00I2uXDxbaE&feature=related

    this sims more real

  • No WAY- will a Golf Ball Flex like this..Unless its made of a Marshmallow

  • @UZI9MMAUTO You obviously have no clue about psychics do you. First off. the ball was not driven with a club, and was no doubt fired with something like a compressed air cannon. It was also traveling at many times the velocity of a clubbed ball. It can flex just as you saw it do. It's rubber with an encapsulated liquid core center. There,.. today you just got smarter. ;D

  • @Ghstwn LOL pwnedd!!

  • @Blitzwolf44 Pwnedd???? Ha Ha,... You lost me on that one. ;)

  • @Ghstwn

"pwned" is a variation of the word "owned" often used in video games to taunt someone of whom you have just beaten in an extreme fashion. From my own experiences i have come to the conclusion that the variant word pwned (also spelled "powned") is the result of quickly trying to type while still playing the game which normally causes a 'Typo' so common between gamers that the varient is prefered over the original word as it has more humorous value.

in this context, you 'pwned' him ;)

  • @Blitzwolf44 Ok,.. I grasp it now. I've just become a bit wiser thanks to your explaination. Thanks. ;)

  • @Ghstwn Although to be fair, knowledge about psychics probably wouldn´t help him much either ;)

  • @UZI9MMAUTO Golf balls are made of hard rubber and with enough force it will flex like as you said A marshmallow

  • My pshysics teacher told me this would happend if you watch a golf boll being hit in slow motion.

    I didnt believe him.

He said search it up on youtube or something.

SHIT BRIX, he pwned me! O.O

  • the golf ball is a flexible plastic casig with a shitload of rubber in it, at the point it's almost flat however the plastic would break quite easily, golfers hit their balls into rocks and trees all the time and split balls real easily

  • i feel strangely aroused.

  • fake and gay!

  • @joshdoyle010 your fake and gay

  • this has to be at least 400 MPH or even higher.

  • at 0:15 its a pancake

  • how hard do you think they are hitting it?

  • GO TO THE USGA REAL GOLF BALL HITTING STEEL IN SLOW MOTION THAT'S REAL THIS ISN'T

  • it's fake it was proven fake by mythbusters or something like that it does do that only not as extreme as that.

  • That's how much I compress the ball with my driver.

  • And that, is why golf balls bounce so well.

  • Comment removed

  • What do you have to shoot a golf ball out of to make it flex like that? Was it shot out of a giant cannon that uses a nuclear bomb instead of gunpowder to launch it?

  • seems legit. kinda.

  • 1) Hold your breath.

    2) Copy all of these steps.

    3) Go to two other video.

    4) Paste it in the comments.

If you can do all of this without breathing you're a god

  • HAHA it is fake, you would see this change in normal speed, look at the other golf ball videos then look back at this one and you will see.

  • @arle0127 this all happens faster than you can think. its proven

  • @spencerhopkins91 Sorry dude, its animation look at the links on the right of your screen, thats what it should look like, and the coating of a golf ball cracks easily, if it formed flat like that video, it would crack badly.

  • @arle0127 actually u wouldn't. check other very slowed down situations and u will see there is a lot of things happening all the time that our weak eyes and limited brain cannot understand.

  • faaaakeeeeeeeeee

  • @gamerbloxgaming golf balls cant bend that way.

  • Comment removed

  • @gamerbloxgaming dude ive broken a golf ball by smashing it i think it would break before that happened. i think your trolling or really dumb.

  • Wtf i click on this vid and it says i have to update adobe? OH OK!!!! SON OF A BITCH!

  • anyone who speaks english knows how to spell not

  • its real, what do you think all that reasearch on golf balls was used for?

  • /watch?v=00I2uXDxbaE&feature=related

  • i once tried to smack my girl friend in the face with my testicles and little did i know she had a steel jaw.... long story short it looked the same.

  • fake

  • CHECK THIS OUT TOO IT'S AMAZING!!

THE VINYLS-GET IT OUT OF YOUR HEAD

  • If that's real then that was just awaome

  • i dont think is fake

  • wtf...

  • why people saying fake? i saw this on tv

  • @0000000012300000000 theres a lot of fake stuff on tv.

  • @kyliewashere1 true, but this what happens in an elastic collision all the time. The other video is the exact same only the elastic potential of the other golf ball is higher.

  • it would haven't changed or compressed that much

  • W.........T.................FAKE?!

  • it is fake, there's a real one in the related videos

    (watch?v=00I2uXDxbaE&feature=related)

  • its not fake, this is what actually happens to golf balls

  • I just dont see how the ball can do what it did at 0:2-0:4

  • but that's just, no way

  • fake and gay

  • @Hathyy troll somemore

  • @iamyourdestiny1 i was only jjjjjjjjjjjjing

  • Watch related video for actual physics

  • To make a golf ball do that it would have to be propelled at intense speeds..

  • Greame Smith believes this shit

  • Golf balls are made from a hard rubber, remember rubber is flexible!

  • @MOZZWIGAN Yes, but I think this ball is made of a much softer rubber than a real golf ball. There are other videos showing a real one and they do compress but only a little bit. If real ones did this then they would be unpredictable when hit with a club.

  • @MOZZWIGAN no they're plastic

  • @emperorfrance Acctually Rubber and plastic

  • @emperorfrance And rubber.

  • @MOZZWIGAN So is your mother.

  • @MOZZWIGAN it is just rubber!!!!

Synthetic rubbers, organic rubbers, and plastics are all hydrocarbon polymers!!!

  • @MOZZWIGAN they dont feel like rubber when they hit my head! lol

  • @stevenr1986 HAHAHAH!

  • @stevenr1986 That's because your head isn't made of steel :)

  • DEAR VIEWERS,

FOR ASTONISHING FACTS, JUST TYPE ON THE SEARCHING BOX:

    Quran and Science

SEVEN PARTS! YOU MUST LIKE THEM!

  • this was shown on the bbc, i doubt it's fake

  • fake

  • That is AMAZING

  • Epic, if that is real it is awesome. So much speed makes the ball act a little like a liquid.

  • ahah bullshit,

  • boooooooooring

  • hold space for more slowmo.

  • How come normal slo mo cameras cant see this hu?

  • @Nathanhi89 to fast? lol

  • not sure if it's fake or not, but i know this is what actually happens in real life, so it doesn't matter if it's fake, because it's still an accurate simulation...

  • Awsome

  • seems more like a squash ball

  • fake and ga- no. it was actually cool. but still fake

  • yeah because a solid wood ball covered in plastic would do that...it all makes sense now...

  • @R4wkFist Golf balls are not pieces of wood covered in plastic. They contain rubber like substances mostly. This looks ridiculous but its real.

  • @Oafing BS i just recently went to a shooting range and someone i gess decided to shoot golfballs i picked one up even though half the thing was blown to shit it was indefinitely made out of wood

  • @R4wkFist You mean definitely. Maybe golf balls at a range because they tend to value quantity rather than quality. Most decent golf balls will have a rubber like centre. Ive ran over a fair few with a lawn mower.

  • @R4wkFist Golf balls are not pieces of wood covered in plastic. They contain rubber like substances mostly. This looks ridiculous but its real.

  • @R4wkFist Golf balls are not pieces of wood covered in plastic. They contain rubber like substances mostly. This looks ridiculous but its real.

  • @R4wkFist Originally golf balls were made from wood. But now they are more commonly made using an compressed, hard, rubbery material.
