This is not the translation of the song, what so ever...and, you sound like you have a frog in your throat. Try to let the sound come out more. You have a great voice underneath all of that unnecessary covering and depression of the larynx!

@TheDBuckley I used the English version from Schirmers. I didn't make a translation. I know my voice is deep and dark...I'm bass...plus I speak French. Also, I recorded the video at home and there's carpet everywhere, that absorves the sound of my voice wich is usually a little brigther. Even dough I'll try to take the positive side of your comments. By the way, you have to work on your breathing. Looks like you can't hold long phrases. At least you have a cute face and that helps ;-)

@tlcacchise ? Excuse me? I go to the Boston Conservatory for Opera. Inform yourself before you make blatantly incorrect statements. That is NOT the translation at all. It is a poetic adaptation. For instance. The first Line "Come Raggio di sol Mite e Sereno" literally means "Like a Ray of Sun, Mild and serene". The poetry adaption matched that he used is "As on the swelling wave, idle in motion". Now tell me again, now that you're informed, is that actually the translation? I didn't think so.

We sat with fluent italian speakers and were tested, word for word on the entirety of our pieces. What I said to you before is the exact translation. I have 2 italian dictionaries right here which will tell you that you're wrong, the head of voice at one of the top music schools in the country, and hundreds of sources. WOW. Give up.
