I bought one of those today at a flea market for $20. It has 3 elements and it looks just like that except it's missing the Black Box. Where can I get the Black Box matching network???
I used one mobile in 1963 with a Lafayette HE45 transceiver AM modulated. It could be tuned easily by that round capacitor in the center. Thanks for bringing back the "Good Ole Days".

I've had this antenna as well. The KU4AB horizontal squalo or PAR Omniangle outperforms this. Better designs.

The Classic Saturns were good in their time. However, my PAR Omniangle outperforms the Saturn hands down!

Not much DX operating Mobile but using a simple dipole on the house gave me several States. By the way, that background music is great.

Beautiful.I've heard lots of good things about these antennas and heard a few on the air as well.
