This series along with Bruce Lee films inspired me to take up kung fu in 1974.I am still learning. There is much wisdom in the scripts. This wisdom was taken directly from Ch'an (Zen) teaching to ensure creative integrity. I wonder if the producers, directors, script writers and actors, including David Carradine, truly appreciated the depth within the scripts at the time they were written. After 37 years, I am only beginning to understand myself.

I always liked this series--Carradine became the living embodiment of KUNG FU. It was a shame he had to die in such a way as he did--
