My theory:

In Half Life 1, Gman's effects when you shoot him is "glass". So it's "GlassMan". Glass specs shoot off of him if you shoot him. It's not supposed to be glass, but it is.

GMAN is not immortal i killed him with the npc strider in one level i dont know the name but the strider had a glitch gman had a glitch and eli vance had a glitch stider shot them both gman got shot in the crotch and did a back flip strider had to shoot at an angle though try it in a level the strider should have a glitch it is possible
