My critique of the "Screamer" vocals simply got out of hand when some folks replied to me privately. Critisizing is something I do not condone and I apologize.

I found the piece 99.99% brilliant and the growling hit me as inadequate compared to the body of the piece.

I wish you guys all the best, and I will go out and buy the album and put my money where my mouth is!

As for the vocals, I think it's important we all realise that emotion and musicality is always going to be subjective to some degree and so whilst I respect that you don't enjoy the vocals, to a great many people extreme vocals are a fantastic instrument to include in a composition. Legendary sax player Pharaoh Sanders makes his sax SCREAM with pure energy, no notes, but pure emotion and we see these vocals being used in the same way

@jackzango I disagree, I get a lot from his vocals and the lyrics, while incomprehensible at time I think they fit the framework of the piece perfectly, music isn't all about clean singing. From a purely musical standpoint it carries the piece in an atonal way that doesn't conflict with the melody or force it to be altered around it, it's quite dense music as it is because there is so much going on
