I Like KJV but I read other versions as well. the one thing that has always bugged me is the the KJV is the only bible that says God created the heaven and the earth. all others I've seen say Heavens. (plural).
You're crossing the street by scaling a mountain. The differences between english translations are MANY--many, many many. This is compounded, in geometric proportions, by all the differences between the available Greek and Hebrew mss.
You're truly wasting your time for two patently obvious reasons. First, you simply cant capture the 1000's of differences in two-10 minute vids. Second, you're dialoging with wacko Fundys who have too much starch in their undies.

I just ordered Dr. White's book "The KJV Only Controversy". Have you by chance read that? I have been a KJV guy for a few months now (not onlyist), but am beginning to notice some problems.
@JoelTheCalvinist ESV is obviously reformed propaganda. Look at the Study Bible. It's not bad, but it's the most bias of all the acceptable translations.

@Savedbygrace70 - There is a book by D.A. Carson that I read that changed my life. It's called The King James Version Debate and it's super cheap on Amazon. I would highly recommend it. He goes into things that were very helpful to understand. How manuscripts were written, how they are dated, how they are interpreted, what mistakes were made, how they knew it was a mistake, etc.
@Savedbygrace70 - remember, don't get too bent out of shape when you don't see a verse "missing." History and evidence show that the verse probably wasn't there in the first place.
@Savedbygrace70 - Yes, the NASB is definitely more literal. But the ESV was created to maintain the literary beauty.
I believe they left it in there because the majority of the manuscripts have it in there. You'll notice that all of these "missing" verses are very obviously clarifications. Like if you read it without and then read it with the verse, you can see how continuity was written into it.
The Book of Eli was a pretty awesome movie... It's awesome to see a Christian movie that doesn't make stupid stuff up and claims to be based off of the Way, like Legion, or Constantine, or Dogma or garbage like that.

I don't know which KJBO people you refer to, but it is clear that various versions at times appear to be similar to the King James Bible. Also, it cannot be that Satan is the author of where the modern version is identical to the KJB. There are good old versions which differ to the KJB, and Satan cannot be responsible for them.
Modern versions are bad because they differ, even in little ways, from the KJB. Trying to excuse modern versions by appealing to the oldest copies doesnt matter.

The error is on both sides. We could be including verses that should not be called "God's Word" or removing verses that are "God's Word."
So the NASB could be committing an error as well.
But I take those verses about like I take the Apocrypha. Good stuff in there, more noteworthy than most books, but not the intended word of God.
