I wonder how many pieces he knows by memory? It's amazing how they can take a new piece and rehearse that day with an orchestra. That's the real talent if you ask me.
@Achtelnote It's not about theory, it's about the experience behind you. The more you play the easier it will get to remember them and learn new ones. Of course theory helps you to make a mental map of the piece, but mostly the pieces are in your muscle memory. Well some have it in their heads some have it in their "hands". Depends on the player anyway.

thats normal for a pianist.
50 hours repertoire is nothing special.
you have to know the theorie,then you can memorize a lot of music.
