As for other instances @ the cross, Jesus in His humanity, voluntarily surrendered His will to the Father in order to finish the task for which He came into the world (Phillipians 2:5-7)

@tickpenwa Jesus was in the flesh. Spirits have the power to materialize flesh. But Jesus only materilaized a body with wound marks on that one occasion because Tomas had declared he would not believe unless he felt the wound marks. On other occasions Jesus appeared in bodies they did not recognize. That proves he was incarnated in different bodies. But that he was resurrected in the spirit, the Scriptures plainly state. So, you have to use a little brain power to figure it out.

@ewatchmandotcom 1. it was more of a gentle correction than a rebuke if anything. Thomas declaration AND Jesus' response together are VERY valid bases for the validity of Jesus' divinity. Thomas' confession alone may not have been enough. Anyone who, at the very least, thinks Jesus to be nothing more than a "good person" would logically agree that a good person would not lie and would correct people especially of a grave error of calling any1 who isn't God, "GOD". Jesus never rebuked his claim.

@ewatchmandotcom 2. At the cross, Jesus was quoting David's psalm 22 which is a messianic prophecy. If you were to read the whole psalm while standing there at the cross, you would have seen prophecies being fulfilled all around you.
As for other instances @ the cross, Jesus in His humanity, voluntarily surrendered His will to the Father in order to finish the task for which He came into the world (Phillipians 2:5-7)

@ewatchmandotcom So Jesus, having come into the world was now subjective to hunger, thirst, the Law, etc. Although HE was equal with the Father, He would not jeopardize the mission for which HE came (again, Phillipians 2:5)
As a man (Son of Man), Jesus' person was dependent on the Father and, like us, looked to the Father for strength, guidance, wisdom, etc. Therefore, God the Father was the God of Jesus, but it doesn't imply inferiority, only a difference in roles.

Sometimes it's an Angel speaking, sometimes it's John speaking, sometimes it's Christ speaking, and sometimes it's God the Father speaking. Sometimes even just Verses apart! So no, kiddo, no where in Revelation 1:8 or 22 etc does it clearly explicitly say "I, Jesus" am the Alpha and Omega. Because of "coming". Read Revelation 4:8-5:1 and see God the Father "coming" ALSO!

Do you believe in the day of the LORD and the resurrection; perhaps, you could explain what type of bodies we will be resurrected in? I have always believed that we will receive incorruptible, imperishable bodies, see (1 Corinthians 15:53). I would also add that Jesus was the first to do this very thing; 1 Corinthians says, “…He is the firstborn from the dead… that in everything he might be preeminent” (1Cor 1:18).
