Why not induce labor late term pregnancies, deliver under anesthesia and put baby up for adoption?

Dr Carhart worked for Mr Miller and performs elective abortions to 35 weeks NOT medically necessary, healthy "viable" babies.

In late term abortions after the baby is killed, the mom still is induce and has to give birth to a fully developed child. Why not give this baby a chance? Just because they don't want it?

I never said "by force". Why not make this an option? It's less heart breaking to give a baby away than to kill it. If you're already in your 3rd trimester, why not adoption?

The fact is that it is illegal to perform abortions on healthy women with healthy fetus' at a time where the fetus could be considered viable (certainly, 35 weeks would qualify) Please be sure to point us all to your empirical proof that Dr. Carhart was breaking the law. Dr Carhart worked at Dr Tiller's clinic with two Drs signing 3rd trimester abortions were done for as little as "temporary maternal depression", hardly life threatening. Actually the legal cut off is 22 weeks no more. 24 weeks IS VIABLE, my son's friend was born at 24 weeks, now a healthy 15 month old. SO where is your proof?

Viability varies greatly between each fetus... spend some time researching viability. I would also suggest that you do your own research instead of obtaining your info from biased sources. Dr Carhart absolutely does NOT perform abortions on healthy women with healthy, viable fetus. Ever. Please feel free to peruse RH and come back with your proof. It' is far better to be truthful about these things... the law is the law; Dr. Carhart does not break the law.
