I remember reading about how Daniel Tammet used to watch these when he went to school and hated them cause they were scary, but I sort of like them.

It's been 10 years since i watched this. I was 6 years old and we watched it every week on a VHS. The opening song always creeped me out because it sounded spooky and this programme has scarred me in the sense it was too spooky to show to 6 year olds. I won't be watching it again.

I was told it was shown only once every four years so my sister wouldn't get to see it. Now she can and I'm glad I was able to see it again.

Just as well the crap with Wordy was cut. I liked it as a kid but it looks rubbish now. I thought he was okay as a computer programme in Badger Girl but the rest of the stories should have kept him like that.

I remember watching this as a kid. That Miss. Hawk. Phwoooar! I had a nasty crush on her at the time, so much so that I remember that I didn't want her to be a baddie. She looks like one classy lady. Just looking at this clip again I could see why I fancied her all those years ago. Yep at the time I really wanted to s@#g her and hoped she would have my children(!) I think I must have been about eight years old at the time...

Not sure the CPS would prosecute really. Unreliable witnesses who all claim to have seen a 10 foot tall ghost dressed like a Knight at the time it happened. Plus defendants all unfit to strand trial due to mental illnesses, symptons include seeing a ghost in a bed and the same 10 foot tall knight. All crackers.

Bizarre and useless piece of trivia alert! - The shows writer Andrew Davies, who also wrote Badger Girl for Look and Read, is the same Andrew Davies who adapted The House of Cards Trilogy (with Ian Richardson as Francis Urqhart), the version of Sense & Sensability with Colin Firth as M Darcy, Bleak House, Vanity Fair and Little Dorrit (amongst other things) for the BBC, as well as writing the screenplays for the two Bridget Jones movies.
