  • I love Adam, your my favorite harp player

  • What a jam! You guys rocked the house with this one!

  • Oh i'v find the full vison. btw what does "Thunky Fing" mean? I am not a native speaker so i can figure out.

  • It means the same thing as "Funky Thing," only backwards.

  • At the beginning it is incredible. You are the fastest harp player i'v ever heard! How could i find the full vison of this song?

  • oh no.. im inspired again..

    THANK YOU ADAM

  • that groove rocks

  • Damn, Adam. What a great groove. I can't stop moving to this song. You two still "got it".

  • 3rd position?

  • D harp, third position.

  • What key harp is this?

  • harmonica is cool

  • This is marvelous! If you guys ever make it over the ocean to Scotland I'll be there. You can stay at my house.

It's great to see and hear you back together again. Thank you and best wishes.

  • Great Tune - Kudzurunner taking over the joint

  • I am starting to understand being in a (drone) zone.

I want to be in one. Must practice more.

I agree with ToddGate 10 stars

  • the house was jumpin. Thanks for sharing.

  • wow that was great! i hope i can play 1/2 that good someday. 5 stars!

  • I would comment on this video, but Mr. Satan did it for me at the end: "Hell Yeah!"

    keep rocking

  • they really went to town on that tune

  • getcher groove on.

  • Great version of "Thunky Fing". This is harping for the 21st century.

  • 5 stars -- I would give you 10 if I could. "Thunky Fing" is one of my favorite Satan & Adam tunes.

When you go into the upper register, your harp sounds like a clarinet through a slightly distorted guitar amp. And I mean that in the best sense possible (in that it's beautifully melodic, but with something of a tough edge at the same time).

  • That's a nice characterization. I didn't personally listen to Benny Goodman and other clarinetists, but they were incredible players.

  • Wonderful.

  • just soloing??

  • Excellent job Adam! Nice job on the OB`s. Thanx for the post. Dave

  • Adam that was great!!! Do you have a drum machine working in the background cause I here some drumbeats or was there a drummer off to the side that I didn't see. Man, I miss playing out I really enjoyed it. I'm trying to learn some Little Walters tunes cause I figure if I get pretty good with him most harp playes came up through Little Walter so it would be easier to copy their material if I have Little Walters style down, Does any of your videos contain how to do a tongue flutter? Must Learn

  • Dave Laycock is our drummer; that's who you heard. Listen to the players that Little Walter listened to: John Lee Williamson, Rice Miller, etc. Yes, I'm sure that I speak about tongue flutters in one or two of my videos, but I'll be damned if I can remember which one(s).

  • Thanks, Yes, I'll have to dig in the archives to find Sonnyboy Williamson and Rice Miller, Howlin Wolf. There were alot of Little Walters that I never learned thinking he was doing chromatic but actually it is just octaves and now that I know how to do octaves I'm learning some of these songs.

  • Check out Mr. Gussows videos on Whammer Jammer. He discusses tongue flutters there.

(although not in very great detail) you will see what I mean :)

  • Thanks Man, Whammer Jammer is a song I used to do but I have to practice it again anyway, I'll check it out for tongue flutters.

  • Wow. Great. 5/5 stars

  • Awesome! Great job.

  • Great.
