  • When is the next version coming out. looks like its been over 6 months. It needs a good mastering multiband compressor -- its stereo enhancer doesnt allow you to DECREASE stereo separation, only increase, which is the worse thing to do to songs.

  • This is quite literally the worst DAW you will ever use. It's buggy, it hogs the RAM, it has minimal VST support, Linux users are icky, glitches are everywhere, pitch bends are finnicky, you cannot render in 320 kbps because the samples get cut off early. Crashes are impossible to predict. The GUI is disgusting and impossible to fully change. The automation has poor stretching adjustments. It doesn't export in FLAC, and it should.

I'm releasing a 50 song album in five days. Made with LMMS.

  • @circuitfry I can't wait to hear it. :D

  • It's too bad it's so choppy :(

  • How would you render that???

  • Does this work for OSX?

  • @TwoIsMagicBeats Since OSX is a unix system, I'd take the vague guess that yes, it will work. But you've got to compile it yourself.

  • the only thing i talk on IM is sex rofl

nice soft btw ... i ma try it out in some time :D

  • how do you add words

  • i think this is more better of FL Studio 9,image line create the base for good sequener but LMMS is better o original FL

  • @fabiopsx2 Yeaah I agree, this isn't as in depth as FL but it's easier to use, and provides sooo muchhh . and the best part is that it's all free ^_^

  • @MisterBankz i use FL 9 but i try this and it is very impressive sequencer,yeah it's free :D bye ;)

  • i use lmms on ubuntu 10.04 alpha...

Still rocks with all plugins and addons ...

  • does the sound stutter on this video or is it the flashplayer in ubuntu 9.04 ?

  • the video

  • i cant get it to work using ubuntu 9.04 and m-audio 1010lt sound card. i think the sound card is not supported under linux.

  • That's the sound card I have...works perfectly in Jaunty and is well supported in Linux in general.

  • Nice vid, program looks pretty sweet. It sounded like you were getting some buffer xruns there though, your latency is set too low? Cool music.

  • wow

  • can you specify?

  • is this a good program - i have fruity loops 8 atm. thanks!

and does it have pre samples in it - or is it a loop based maker!

  • I made some nice beats with this program.

  • massa d+

  • Awesome song!

  • nice

    which samples/presets do u use?

  • Usually the ones coming with LMMS, and I make my own presets.

  • great beat but the sound seems to lag for me...

  • Great Beat! :)

    What is your computer specs?

  • Currently C2D E4400 (overclocked a bit), 3GB RAM and Gentoo on the PC I recorded this with.

  • Nice Video, heard your other music, very nice indeed ;)

  • Very cool sound, pushing your hardware to the end right?

  • Has it rewire function ?

  • i think yes

  • very nice cool!xD

  • just downloaded this, makes fl studio seem rather expensive now! well done to these guys!

  • i like the flp import feature.

  • Try raising your buffer length to reduce the ammount of clicks when doing stuff.
