the EGLM looks and works awesome but the gun itself has a low FPS and feels week because of the thin plasic lower reciver

really? mine doesn't, the lower receiver is nylon fiber and the FPS is about 370 with .20 g which is over the limit for alot of ranges

You're right. It's not 30 seconds long. It's actually less. It's a matter of simple arithmetic.

The video is 47 seconds long. He starts dissembling the gun at 17 seconds in, and finishes at 42 seconds in (the rest of it is just him tidying up the table).

47 - 42 = 5

47 - 17 = 30

30 - 5 = 25. So it actually takes him 25 seconds to disassemble the gun. Which is LESS than 30.

VFC and STAR both make beautifully constructed and solid guns. VFC isn't making an EGLM though, are they? ;o I'd say it's really a toss-up. The only thing the VFC one has on the STAR, is that it has the proper FN-style magazines...but I hate highcaps, and love launchers, so meh. :D

Also, the quickchange barrel on the STAR replica is better than VFC's solution, imo.

I already went with vfc, because their scar is the best "replica" in because it field strips just like the real one and it's a very accurate generation 3 SCAR. Star's scar is generation 2 with a generation 3 cheek rest.

it is a mix between the two, like the cheekweld and how the stock is connected to the rest of the gun is gen.3, but there are other parts that are gen 2, and even gen 4, because of how the stock doesnt get in the way of the trigger, which does on the gen 3. search google it says

If their armalite series are any indication, this thing's solidly constructed, and performs accordingly. I have one of their M16A3's, love it. I'm currently saving up for a SCAR-L...I had been saving up for an M4A1 (w/SOPMOD-style railed handguard) but this is only like $140 more and the EGLM gives me wood. :3

Yeah, dunno. Other than the videos, the only other time I've seen the SCAR-H mentioned is in the original SCAR-series press releases, where they showed both. The Heavy is great... But at least the Light uses STANAG magazines, 'cause I mean, hell... EVERYONE has some M16/M4 mags lying around, am I right? :)
