  • nice work :)

  • heavier than lead

  • Great videos. You're right about that slightly bendy out-of-tune E-string. Remember, it was McCartney and Harrison on the guitars and Lennon on the bass (and sax) on this tune. Search around YouTube and you will find an isolation mix of Lennon's bass. It's very punk rock.

  • I love your videos man. I can learn any song I want from watching you!

  • did you use an effect? and which amp did you use? greetings from chile! :)

  • @pablofederdeltenis Just straight into a Marshall AVT 50H half-stack.

  • Great.

  • Is This Setups for metal?

  • seriously. keep playing after 3:09 its the best fucking part of the song!

  • John played bass here, so you're right!

  • Oh my god, les paul!!!!!!!! <3

  • yeah, i tried it and i am thinking it is a "behind the nut bend" (what an unfortunate phrase)...

  • julianoazL is quite right. because of the mix on the White Album, it is hard to hear, but there is a discernible semi-tone bend on the E. it just sounds different becuase we are hearing julian's guitar on our faces. now, there may be a point to be made about how much j. is bending there, but not bending is NOT an option if you want to do what George is doing.

  • @romeosyne You could bend behind the nut, I suppose.

  • @privettricker hey dude nice playing BTW wich les paul is that?

  • @romeosyne, The Beatles were abusing studio equipment a lot in their recordings.

  • I subscribed ;)

    This sounds awesome!

  • @privettricker would the rythym also work with e chord on the 1st n 2nd frets

  • I like how ur whole body jumps everytime you strum an E..! :P

  • Your hit in the E string sounds horrible...

  • @julianoszL What do you mean? Seriously.

  • @privettricker Check the tune or maybe your hit it's too strong, it sounds like untuned...

  • @julianoszL Listen to the White Album recording. It's supposed to go up a semi-tone when you hit it.

  • @privettricker Maybe you are hitting it too strong, it looks like an oscillating tone (E), a little weird, and sounding untuned

  • @privettricker your suppose to hit an E major chord hard enough to keep the low bass wobbling, but not hard enough to lose the tone of the E chord.. Your using 2 E notes and it sounds "horrible" because it goes too much out of tune of the song... and we all know what happens when you do that.. you get a crowd of angry people cornering beethoven.

  • @julianoszL You have to hit the low E very hard very very hard and some times not as hard but hard. It is also possible George was turning the tuning peg back and forth on the low E. Paul plays the lead guitar on this song of course , but I believer it is George doing the low E stuff and John was actually playing bass.

  • i like the hog shirt. rochester in the house.

  • @thebudgetgamer GO NEW YORK!!!!

  • I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!!!!!!

  • Ringo played drums. John played a six string bass. George played rhythm and the descending arpeggio during the chorus. Paul played lead.

  • @cindercronkit Yeah, that makes the most sense. Thanks.

  • @cindercronkit Too grungey

  • i think it was john playing bass george with rythm and paul lead. someone correct me if i am wrong but im pretty sure thats right

  • great guitar cover

  • john played bass

  • you, sir, are a wizard.

summon me some of your powers.

  • This is brilliant.

Have you got the tabs that you used, if you used any? I'm having trouble getting the verses down.

  • dude u are so awesome im barely learning how to play guitar and i have to say that is some serious talent

  • this is a perfect song to break all the strings rawrarrrrrrr :D

some people say that Jimmy Page was in the studio, just "watching" the recordings..

  • great cover so much feeling of the raunchy george playing. how george played with his raunchy tone was a little sloppy compred to his prestigious abbey road let it be days. i dig it and u probably do too because u matched him just right.

  • That kicked SO much ass!

  • lots of noise!!!!

  • @psi4rick You sound like my father.

  • I don't know what you're actually talking about in the comment, but Paul played lead guitar on this.

  • @RPGCream Cool, I always thought that was George. The bends sound just like him.

  • Comment removed

  • @cousinbros All I know is that McCartney played the lead. Lead doesn't mean only the solo. George played rhythm guitar here (that's probably the palm muted one) and John played a bass.

  • @RPGCream yeah true my bad

  • @RPGCream IDK about that cause if I recall George is the bend master of the group.
