@stukowebs This video is a bad experiment. It's like a bag of chips turning stale, appearance wise there is no evidence, but it truly is rotten. Which is basically what the McDonald's Happy Meal did, appearance wise there are no flaws, but it is in fact stale and rotten. This video is just a poorly done experiment that can be broken with simple logic and science.
all these videos about indestructible mcdonalds food have convinced me now: mcdonalds must use some kind of evil jew magic to preserve their food. if we want to save ourselves from eating unhealthy mcdonalds stuff we must kill all the jews!
im starting to freak out with all this horrible news appearing about mcdonald's. on how they process their meat.. i love mcdo ever since i was little..and little did i know they are adding ammonium hydroxide on their meat...
@100lilabner yea good idea go chow down at McDonalds. I refuse to eat there but I do own a lot of stock in the company so go eat a lot. Thanks for the money.
@ddrlear I own a lot of McDonalds stock. Its garbage food and I wont eat there but as long as people like you eat it the more money make. Thanks for the money.
i don't know, my dog used to LOVE McD's fries and she lived to be 17 y.o.!!! When eating a burger outside, ants would come get all over my food. Funny how ducks near a lake love the bread too.
That shit isn't like wine, it doesn't taste better with age, eat the god damn thing, stomach acid is there for a reason, we eat honey and that doesn't decay either.
Why is it when Morgan Spurlock did his experiment on 5 different McDonalds burgers they were all moldy and gross within 5 weeks but when you anti-fast food hippies do it they are always perfect? I call bull shit, I'm going to buy one tomorrow and test it.
One thing to doubt about the credibility of this video is that if you look carefully, we are seeing different french fries, anyway you can make the experiment by yourself just to know.
it's amazing how many people fall for this. It's just dried out, that's why it doesn't break down. A loaf of bread left on the counter will dry out, a loaf left in it's bag will mold. Why? Because the moisture can't leave the bag, and moisture is required for stuff to decompose. It's why all the mummies in the world come from deserts and not jungles or swamps.
I'm anti-fast food, but this is just bad science and bad logic.
@mcsonkl8 Yes, but you would still see MOLD grow on the sandwich. The fries were still the same, had no bad smell, and the burger had no smell. It was hard as a rock, because i seen a video of when sally was recording it in her apartment, and she touched it and it was hard. But perservitives shouldn't live that long. the burger should have started rotting in 2 weeks.
@mcsonkl8 The burger doesn't stop rotting because it dries out. The burger dries out because it doesn't decompose. A loaf of bread will mold, (whatever if in the bag or not) unless you leave it alone in a desert-like weather. Make a test: grab a fresh real homemade hamburger and leave it alone in any ventilated area to see what happens. A couple of days and it is a fly swarmyard. By the way, there are South and Central American mummies too.
@voadordaseras yeah but south and central american mummies come from extremely arid regions, not jungle regions. If you want to see an actual scientific breakdown of the phenomenon at work google this: The Burger Lab: Revisiting the Myth of The 12-Year Old McDonald's Burger That Just Won't Rot (Testing Results!)
@stukowebs the challenge for you is to cook a steak or burger well done at home and leave on the counter unwrapped. It will also dry out and last forever without moulding. This video IS bad science. A slice of bread (the bread you eat that is so great) left on the counter unwrapped will dry and just go hard (stale). When a person or animal dies, their body is full of water and bacteria hence it decomposes. Cooked food is already dead with no live bacteria.
@mcsonkl8 Also dogs not wanting to eat it is a blatant lie. Leave any burger - Mc Donalds or not, mechanically separated or not - at a dog's reach and test it yourself.
I have an idea, buy a meal at McDonalds, keep the receipt so they know when you bought the food, return 6 months later and ask them if you could get something a little more edible than a plastic toy
Sadly random people who test fail one important logic. There is a reason salt and pepper is added. The same way they were used to preserve meat in the past before refrigeration. Now this preservation is not so you can eat it months later. Rather so if they have an extra that's been sitting for a while .. that thy can still sell it. And for the fries in a old restaurant I worked we added a chemical to help preservation. So I'm sure the same is for those fries.
McDonalds is real food, the reason the food does not rot is becuase it's high in fat. High fat means less moisture, which means less space for mold to grow.
Ummm....anything that is fried is going to have a near eternal shelf life because most of the moisture (water) has been removed. Without moisture, nothing will really decompose.
White bread is pretty dry, so with it out in the open, what little water is left just evaporates whereas if it were on your counter in a bag, the moisture would remain and mold would grow.
The fact it is 6 months old and looks like that is insignificant.
Its not about chemicals or stuff.. the burger and fries just dry out so the bacteria dont spread cause they need "wet" surroundings.. actually scientists researched that case in german television and came to that conclusion
this is bullshit, you obviously put this in a dry, sterile environment or put a ton of salt on it after you bought it, after 2 weeks that hamburger would look like shit, i would know, ive seen 2 week old hamburgers from mcdonalds. the fries however, have a ton of salt so obviously they'll stay preserved.
@hoaxcablistic It's true... I've been working on McDonalds for 3 years... I was the owner of the resturant, McDonalds do actually have some of the cleanest resturants and most strict rutines in the world...
does anyone know how this is possible if they are obligated by health departments to put an specific amount of additives? if they have to stick to the regulations, how does the burguer not decompose? also, do you know any lab experiment that would allow to know the amount of food additives it carries?? thaks!
@anatargaryen There are no additives... I have yet to see any "list" of the so called additives in a burger... Because there aren't any. This is so fake it's ridiculous.
it was fake, in every test the fries turned very dark in this one nothing changed, proves it's fake i could do this too with 30 seconds of footage from a classy french restaurant and every idiot would believe me

@mcsonkl8: There were those bog mummies in Ireland that were very well preserved. Leave a cake out uncovered and see what happens.
ReturnoftheBrotha 3 weeks ago
@mcsonkl8 so are you trying to say that
1) air has no moisture
2) mcdonalds bags have more moisture
3) mcdonalds burger need more moisture to decompose than everything else in nature that can decompose outside a bag
a loaf of bread will also decompose outside a bag, atleast the bread i eat.
maybe you should go search mummies in the desert since everything that dies there should be mummified - following your "good" logic and "science".
sorry mr. mcantidonalds
